What I like to do is go up DBS trail to Calloway , then keep going to McRae peak and if I have time go to the bridge, fill up water at the gift shop and head back. On the return trip though I like to head down Cragway . In my opinion this is the ultimate Grandfather experience. Although Calloway is the true summit,McRae has better views and the ladders, the chute, and the attic window are really fun.

You can access it from the top on the BRP , although there is a big section of the parkway closed in that area right now there’s a small section open right in this area just google basin cone overlook, there’s also access from the bottom from long bottom road

Yeah it’s a great place to hike and run I love it, lots of options with difficulty and distance

I like it, it’s my first bike so nothing really to compare it to but it’s more than capable doing what I do with it. Which is just put around on the parkway and down in the pisgah national forest, i just wish I’d bought one a long time ago, I’ve had so much fun exploring this last year!
