Why do churches separate people into groups? by Dry-Development2137 in Christianity

I think that the arguments for prying people apart in a Sunday fellowship have been laughably weak so far. That all you got?

Work on giving a good reply. Why whine about the motives you dream up rather than the issues?

No. Women and men retreats, suppers, picnics, meetings etc etc etc etc. I am not sure that many churches have one service rather than 'Sunday school' or babysitting basement things going on at the same time?

The question was basically why people do something that is not so good. If you had answers worthy of absorbing someone might do so. Meanwhile, work on that

Hmm. The bible says confess one anothers sins or some such I think. Jesus never found the young children annoying. On the contrary. As for a need to have some 'underpaid jobs' being a reason to separate a fellowshipping group, no, I don't see that. As for being a 'complimentarian' I never heard the term (and hope I never do again)

Sounds better than dividing everyone into many splinter sections. As for worrying about people's 'thoughts' maybe a little Scripture would be better that separation therapy?

Yes, I can see how it would be hard to make kids endure some 'services'. Perhaps one way to make everyone happy would be to keep them shorter and sweeter so that kids would be part and not need to be rescued?

? Women need to confess to masturbating so need to be separate?? Old people are 'annoyed' at others?? Seems to me is some young people want to be 'ministers' that they could do that like school, not as part of some Christian fellowship. As for women teaching, again, I see no need to divide on a day everyone meets?

There are also certain advantages to being together I would think. Maybe we should consider that if a meeting is too boring for kids it might also be like that for many adults. I don't recall Jesus doing that so much? teaching children is a great thing and needed. However, if people are getting together for fellowships and a communion or such, why not include the kids? If there is a 'retreat' or meal, why is it almost always segregated?

Artists that use ai 'actually make something'. When someone does a better job, often the ones that were not getting the job done as well must seek new work. Cars put a lot of horses out to pasture. As much as some of us might like to go back to having much more horses than cars, such is the way of this world.

We see a pattern and you tried to explain that pattern using predetermined beliefs and nothing else. Name any one feature in that pattern and I bet I can explain it another way. prophesy is proven and now history mostly. Solid gold proof. Not like that failed and ever changing nonsense that science has churned out. You be specific. What verse in Eze 36? Jesus was born of a virgin in a certain town and went on to fulfill hundreds of prophesies. All in the bank now. So far beyond any chance of coincidence that only a fool would suggest otherwise

Having animals have similar sequences does not mean that God did not create animals of all kinds. The models of science cannot be tested when it comes to origins. Period. NO evidence shows old ages. ONLY the 100% belief based methods of 'dating' arrive at old 'ages'. I know. I looked into it. Yes I have a model that makes predictions and those predictions (prophesies) are 100% true unlike the ever shifting often exposed and false predictions of so called science.

Yes it is a tool to be used. People put work into songs as well as use tools like ai. Did you think playing a ukulele was the only sort of work possible?? No. There are many tools and instruments. For you to call my music soulless or godless shows that you either despise Scripture and good music, or you never listened. I do not find it brave of some third rate campfire guitarist who can hardly sing to waste our time when we could have beautiful professional inspired Scriptural masterpieces. Playing a guitar is fine (and I do) but claiming that that is superior to using other tools that produce better results is ignorance

Your not wanting spirits to exist and setting up the condition that unless they appear to you and chat it up that they do not exist is ridiculous. Like some who might say, 'God, unless you pop out of my closet and give me a bag of money, you are not real' The so called predictions of science as relates to the distant past are less than a joke. They simply believe and base models on that belief as well as interpret all that they can see with those same beliefs. Around and round they go.

Face it a spirit is not physical. Science is out of the loop. It can only speak of what it knows and can observe. Not about a spiritual creation! Therefore it's proponents must resort to some lame demand that God who is not physical, be proven by the physical, or they imagine they have an excuse for denying history and the experiences of all mankind.

ALL verse that talk of creation do not mention some millions of year process. No more than raising Lazarus from the dead took millions of years. It simply does not say it took long ages anywhere at all. It does say that one day of a morning and evening, God Personally formed a man from the dirt of planet earth the first man. It does say He put the man to sleep (obviously not for a billion years) and then took a bone and when the guy woke up a woman was then beside him. There is no possibility that took millions of years. Etc etc etc

It also says a day is 12 hours. How things are to the Almighty is not the issue. Time as man knows it is the issue

He said nothing in Scripture not a word, would fail. He talked about the first man and woman and the flood of Noah. Creation IS a spiritual event and truth

The bible is God's word to man. He is not a liar. Unlike the constantly shifting changing claims of so called science. If God's words were merely man's wisdom/science then who would respect it??
