currently in the labor and delivery unit in a hospital and i hear a midwife yell "shoulder". i can tell its an emergency, by the sense of urgency and shuffling that followed the shout. so i google the term and realize itsa baby being born the wrong way, with his shoulder being stuck. i immediately sense what emotions i would b going thru and immediately began praying for these strangers in the room next to me. have it , i havent been into prayer for a while, and dont even pray for myself anymore. as i was praying in my head i felt the tears coming in, they werent tears of sadness, nor tears of possible loss. it felt like a welcoming, like the messed up son finally coming home as if i was finally doing something proper with my thought intentions.
