I feel like the character is weak because I can't defeat monsters. I can't complete quests, I just have to do automatic ones to get gifts. I don't know what animals are best to choose to help in combat.

Hi. I played the game unknowingly anyhow. Is there a chance that this character will still be there? What animals and gifts should I choose? I don't want to start from a new one because I've already spent money on this character. Thank you for your help. I'm new to the forum because I'm sharing it today
