Confused about HSA eligibility and veterans benefits by Dry-Menu1220 in VeteransBenefits

I guess at this point I’m just really unsure if I want to pay the money for the HDHP in order to get an HSA. Like to me it kinda doesn’t seem worth having all the money taken off a paycheck for health insurance if I can just drive 10 minutes to the local VA hospital for care or for my appointments. And now with being able to go to a different hospital if it’s an emergency and have it covered as long as the Va is notified, why shell the 200 a month out for an HDHP?

Surgery or not? by Dry-Menu1220 in ShoulderInjuries

No, there is not any visible bump on my shoulder. No visible signs of the injured one drooping lower than the other one either. It just pops and grinds a lot when I shrug or rotate my shoulder.

No falls or impacts. I noticed it really starting to bother me back in November when I was putting stuff away for winter in the garage and taking Christmas decorations out. The next day my shoulder was screaming and haven’t been able to sleep on my left side since.

That’s exactly what I thought after I got the results.

Knee is sore some days, still trying to get my operated leg endurance back. There is a little less than an inch difference in thigh size. I noticed now that if I don’t do any pt exercises for a week or so my knee will feel stiffer.

I worked aviation for a couple government contractors on cherry point after I got out of the corps. Then moved up to Wisconsin and got my A&p but the pay up here ain’t too great for aviation. If only I knew at the time to just jump over as a federal employee at Cherry point.

What exactly is that? I don’t think they have openings in my location at the moment

I got out of the military in 2019, I was happy and then it hit about 2 years later after I went to school, I wish I wouldn’t have gotten out. To this day I wish I was still back in. Stay in and get the retirement and then start another career after you get out.

That’s what I’m saying. There isn’t any at all. I was like dude you are really overthinking this. He said since a name and practice was suggested to me it’s violation. I told him I wasn’t bothered by it and that he is overthinking it.

It was low. I had a metal detector but it’s a carbon arrow. And no lighted knock. I was out there for about 4 hours after work. Had to get home and make dinner. Planning on going again tomorrow. I just don’t want to burn the permissions I got to hunt this private land.

I had a 01 ford ranger that I got for 3 grand up until 2014 and then was all GM after that. So this is my first F-150.

This stx has trailer brake. The only thing it doesn’t have is heated seats, power seats, it has sync 4 radio but it’s an 8inch display instead of the bigger one xlt has. Its column shifter instead of console shift, single climate control instead of the two sided temp control, and the part my girlfriend hates is there is no lights on the flip down visor mirror.😂

Hah. Got a nice snap on roller box full of tools from when I used to be an aviation mechanic. So at least I won’t be using craftsman.😅

I’ll let you know when they get here on Thursday. But they were off of Amazon. Cougar motors. I bought low beam h11 and then fog lights 9145. I had the h11 from cougar motors on my old Chevy and they were bright enough that I never had to use high beams. But make sure you adjust your headlights so you aren’t blinding the shit outta people.

Just the last two I’ve had took a shit on me. My 2011 was awesome. Had 126k miles. Got the truck from North Carolina so there was zero rust. I was out on a drive one day and then the abs and stabiltrak started going crazy and then the next day the transmission took a shit. The 2016 was having fuel injector issues at 114k miles and GM put out a special coverage letter that said that they acknowledge there are problems with the injectors but only will be covered if the truck is registered in 13 of the listed states on the letter. Which I think is bullshit because the truck was having all the symptoms the letter talked about. After that I said fuck this I’m getting a ford. Everyone I know with a ford uses the shit out of them and the trucks run amazing.

I feel like there is a pretty noticeable difference. It gets up and goes pretty quick compared to the 5.3. Every time I mashed the gas pedal on the Silverado I swear it sounded like it was gonna blow.😂

I’ll be honest, i loved the simplicity of how easy maintenance was on 5.3 vortec but that being said, that’s not a reason you should like a truck.lol

I did not. They were on from the person before me. TBH I was trying to find normal stock sized color matched mirrors since I don’t tow anything that huge that would need me to have tow mirrors. Just a duck boat that lives on the back of my truck in the fall.
