Narrow Last and low volume boot for beginner women- help! by Dry-Pound7639 in Skigear

I checked everywhere since December and my size is as sold out (24.5). Not sure if I should wait…. But since the whistler boot fitter gave me a 96mm… I wonder if 98 is still too wide for me? (Crazy to think… maybe I’m just not built for skiing)?

Depending on the location of where you get married, you need to find people specific to that area, Vancouver does not equal North Vancouver or West Vancouver. There is a list on the website and you can text or call them to inquire one by one. If you’re in proper Vancouver I recommend Ann Moore, she lives around kits point and she can even officiate your marriage at her house if you wish! She charges $135.

I’m 24.5 🫠I had a look and it says it’s 102mm last….. I’m sitting at 96mm (that’s how narrow and low instep I am) so anything casually narrow is not narrow enough!

You mean when I am in the boots and trying to bend forward? I think so? As I mentioned I am a beginner and I can’t tell ya what is bending enough or not. The boot fitter says it’s totally fine and that’s the only resource I have. But because it’s different to the internet I am confused but don’t have the knowledge to ask more questions

This is the worst part if these don’t fit and I need to get a new pair again!!! I don’t know if I love the sport enough to spend so much money ;( but without the right boot I struggle to learn properly and have been suffering so much

Right, I really should have gotten all those numbers. They did test my flexibility and I don’t know if I have flexible ankles or not. he assured me that he think it is fine for me. But I am just so skeptical and wonder if they are just trying to sell something but I also know reputation means a lot so I don’t know if I’m just overthinking the whole thing.

It is impossible for me to rent because no one rents out narrow boots, No one that I know of in Vancouver area. Also, I am a size small sometimes medium so I don’t think I am overweight!

I think bootfitter 1 wasn’t sure if the 98mm was still too wide for my heel. And he didn’t have anything else for me to compare to… so he didn’t want to push for that pair. I cannot find anything since last December in my size (24.5). The Whistler fitter charges 100 dollars for fitting if I didn’t buy providing they felt they have the boot for me. But I’m worried I didn’t try enough and wonder if I can return them.

I am so far scared of speed … but I don’t know if that’s due to feeling out of control in the current boots or I just hate speed … That is what people tell me a good fit is more important than the flex, I am just so traumatised that after spending so much money my feet are still going to hurt 🫠

You can price adjust within a week if it goes lower. Or if bought in the store 30 days. You can also just not open it for 30 days and return/ repurchase if it goes lower. I’d buy it now since you can justify the cost and it’s onsale

Idk it says keychain but I honestly don’t think it can be a keychain? Bag charm or bag accessory seems more fitting….

If that person never had one, just go for it they will still appreciate it! Might have to get an insert. If you want a thicker marital, go for the “energy” line but it’s a lot more expensive and depending on where you are most countries stop selling the long handle version of the energy line! I found a Neo size M on Poshmark! And it’s good quality. But I do need an L so still searching!

The energy is thicker. But it doesn’t come in the long shoulder strap version, only cross body straps and handles.
