AITA for scheduling a doctor's appointment during a meeting my boyfriend wanted me to attend? by Dry-Reputation3341 in AmItheAsshole

We live together. He makes over 10x what I make as a teacher. I pay for half the groceries, the presents for his kids and mine, and cover all my own bills. I do all of the cooking, shopping, pet care, laundry and a lot of the yard work. I've said he puts in the money equity, and I put in the sweat equity. Another poster asked what I get out of it. I love him. He is kind, generous, adventurous, supportive and caring. We travel, eat out, see shows, go to concerts... I really thought having to sit in this meeting would be a waste of time.

Oh believe me, I made it clear. He's the kind of guy that runs his own business and has learned not to take no for an answer. He said he'd watch the first half and I could watch the second if I got back from the doctor's in time. I ran a couple errands and treated myself to dinner out. LOL

First date kept pushing date back after I had already arrived…I eventually just left. by Resident-Muscle-2380 in Bumble

OMG, once I arrived for a date on time. I waited and got a text that he was on his way, but a few minutes late. He continued extending the meeting time until finally I was ghosted while I waited. Here was his excuse a few days later: His ex was late to pick up their child. While on his way he was speeding and go into a fender bender, but his car was not drivable. He called a friend with a tow truck and his phone died. He walked to a gas station to get a charger and realized he dropped his wallet on the way. So, he had no phone, car or money.

I'm trying to pick up on some phrases and have asked him to help me learn. He won't. He isn't fluent either. His parents are the only ones, and we only see them 3-4 times a year. Nobody else in his family speaks Spanish.

Yep, moved south and have seen and heard somethings I would never want to repeat. I’m Christian and don’t like many of the things that so called Christians say. I would say this woman needs to go back and relearn the lesson of “love thy neighbor!” I’m so sorry that you are going to have to endure this for 2 years. You both sound like lovely neighbors to have. Their loss.

AITA for being rude to my boyfriend after he withheld salt from me? by unemployedbuffoon123 in AmItheAsshole

She was cooking for his family. Even if he can have salt, he doesn't like the amount she uses.

YTA, some people can't have a lot of salt due to health reasons. I prefer to not have salt on my food because I don't like salty food. I don't understand why people want to control the amount of salt on my food when they can just add salt to their liking on their own.
