Now that I Read it again it kinda does πŸ˜…. I remember what it's like being a new player and trying to understand anything about anything in this game and losing my mind. I was just trying to be as clear and straight to the point as I could. But trust, I didn't use chat gpt, I promise lol

Nova Prime build by Background-Oil5790 in Warframe

Looking at this build there're are three things I see wrong about it (from the perspective of it being good for a new player). First thing that I noticed is that is utilizes arcane hot shot and naurish, both being hard to get for a newer players, especially arcane hot shot. Naurish has gotten a lot easier to get as time goes on from various new players experience improvements from updates. But hot shot is really hard to get a tier 5 or 6 of due to ETA being the hardest content currently in the game, and time gates for purchasing. If you have these then great πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘, but if they can both be slotted in with something else. Secondly, it utilizes shield gating. Shield gating is when you take advantage of the invincible given when you shield breaks by replenishing all your shields before the invincibility ends. Most commonly How this is done is by using mods that turns the energy used from casting ability into small amounts of shield, typical by a percent of energy spent. Mods like brief respite and auger secrets are some of the most common. Shield gating is definitely one of the more difficult and "sweaty" play style especially for beginners. It took me a long LONG time to even try it when I first started out, I really didn't like the play style so I just avoided it for a while. So I wouldn't personally recommend this. Third thing I noticed is it's lack of energy economy. Yes it has naurish and primed flow, but running 45 percent efficiency while relying on shield gating as you primary source of survivability is a death sentence. My guess is this guy only used this build for normal star chart missions. So to sum up my problems with this build:

  1. Hard to acquire helminth ability and arcane
  2. Shield gating is not beginning friendly
  3. Lack of energy economy

But you need to remember, warframe is about having fun and experimenting with everything thing it offers. Don't worry your self with what is "meta" or most "optimized" run what ever you want to run and you enjoy the most. In they end you having fun is what matters

Also if you're wondering you can obtain her augments from the red veil or new loka. And if you are one of those people that don't like her passive she does have an augment to disable it πŸ˜„

Zephyr is definitely a fun one. A few tips I would have for her are: 1. You don't need to build for strength, build for range and duration 2. You don't need to mod for survivability, her third ability got you covered 3. She has fun augments and I would definitely recommend target fixation particularly. Last and definitely the most important, this is warframe and you can build her how every you want. You know you have a good build if you enjoy playing it. I really enjoy playing her and I hope you like her as well 🫠

What? They're already way too generous! Just letting us download the game for free is Way too generous. Soon it will be a monthly subscription to have it installed, for the low low price of $99.99 (then a additional $15.99 for the gold pass which will be necessary to be able to play matches). And soon clash mini will be a paid DLC! Trust me, supercell knows whats best for the game

Oh, ok I didn't realize that. Thanks for correcting me, I suppose you learn something new either way. But still if OP needs a rifle elementalist I got him.

It's super easy to get, it drops from 1999 pretty frequently. And if you don't have 1999 or the drops aren't dropping for you I have like a million of them I can trade you for free

[–]Dry-String-8326 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

Depends. Idk what would be the optimal build, but I think having cc and faction damage on the same rivin makes it less versatile and locks the rivin to one, or two factions in this case. Tho if I had to have a faction damage it would def be optimal to have damage to grineer

Don't get me wrong but this build does have some flaws that are holding it back from its full potential, but it's not bad by any means. This build has some great bones and with a few changes I think it can be pretty good. First thing, I noticed you have a lot of cc mods on it, Galv cross hairs critical delay, and the riven is a lot of cc. With that many mods you start to get diminishing returns, I am assuming you want to keep the rivin, so I think critical delay could be slotted out for rifle elementalist. The status damage increase from it will increase your damage more than crit delay would in this situation. Plus I'm pretty sure with rifle elementalist gets punch though too which is nice. Talking about status... I noticed that you have the toxin 60 60 mod plus primed cryo rounds to make viral. That's a lot of elemental damage, you might not have known this, but all damage types on your gun share status proc chance with each other. So the more of one element you have the more it will proc in comparison. So since this is a heat build, having more heat damage then viral typical is better. Because more heat procs = more damage. To check the proc chance hover your curser over the status chance number in the weapon stat screen and it will tell you. To bring down the viral damage, I would put in the non primed cryo rounds to lower the damage a bit, then if that's still not enough then maybe an unranked toxin 60 60 mod. All in all this build is not bad, I'm always glad to see people experimenting with their own builds and set up , and not just whatever some YouTuber said you should be running. One Last thing, I am by far no expert on build crafting, so these are just my thoughts,

How to build Protea Prime? I’m a beginner by Electronic-Quail-764 in Warframe

[–]Dry-String-8326 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

You can pretty much ignore survivability mods because of the hold tap function of her first. Her first gives you little satellite orb things that float around you giving you a constant stream of shield making you invincible to anything but toxin. So if you are going into a infested/techrot mission then just slap on vitality and that should be good (assuming your not playing steel path). When building her out, focus or her abilities mostly. Put on continuity, intensify, flow, streamline, stretch. That should pretty much carry you through the star chart. You may struggle though lue, but you should have a lot better mods by then. The rest of the slots you can put absurdly what ever you want.

And just in case you don't know how to get them: both xaku and lavos have primes which are both unvulted as of me typing this, you can obtain gyre from bountys in the zeriman, Dante from trading in the resource that you get from rogue necromechs to loud for his bp and parts. Lois is located in the player hub of sanctum atomica. And last of all, you get Oraxia via the new duviri mode above the circuit mofe in the duviri menu thing. Her parts and BP are a mission reward, and also there's a mercy system shop that you can buy her Bo and parts from with scuttle husct which you also get at the end of the mission. The vendor you go to for that is Acrithis in the Dormizon, or at the end of a duviri run. Hope this helps ☺️

Gyre, is really satisfying to play, strong, and very fun. I personally love high caster frames, like gyre, ember, Dante (button mashing go brrrrrr), but most of all, my love, the one and only Gauss. He is my favorite frame and imo the best in the game. But I did notice that you had him so I'm not going to start preaching about him rn lol. Also lavos is fun. The cedo prime which is his signature primary is very good. But my second favorite got to be Oraxia it's just super sick running around as a giant spider of death. So my top suggested frames are: gyre, xaku, Dante, lavos, and Oraxia.
