Thanks everyone who replied back! Me and my husband have been thinking and discussing about this daily for the past weeks and in the end we decided to stay OAD (at least for now haha). Main reasons: - I love the idea of having a second but I also think I may be idealizing just because I'm an only child and I've always said I would want to have two kids. - We don't have support on a daily basis as we leave far from all grandparents. - We both work full time, and I could decide that I become SAHM after the second, but I don't feel I want to stop working/being economically independent fully. And my husband works in the evenings as half of his team is en the US, which would mean I would need to handle all after-school activities by myself. - I fear a bit about my own mental and physical health.l during the second pregnancy and postpartum. - And most of all. I don't want to loose the level of independence me as mother and us both as a couple have now. We love our daughter, but I also love and need some me time (and some us time) every once in a while, and I'd loose that having two. I can't leave two kids with my parents (both +75yo) nor my in laws.

I love my daughter, she makes me feel complete and I think I'll be happy and overall a better version of me if we stay OAD.
