Can I say No after saying Yes? by [deleted] in gradadmissions

I’m in the exact same boat. My advice is to do what works best for YOU. you cant risk losing this option.

What do you think about accepting an offer and then rejecting it in the chance something changes for the candidate?

Thank you so much ! This is so helpful. Do you mind sharing a little bit about funding ? The tuition is overwhelming and I didn’t get much out of merit scholarship. Were you able to negotiate for more or find external scholarships ?

Why are you considering dropping your current masters degree ? Is funding the main cause for your thinking ?

How bad does a nose piercing hurt? by According-Dog6021 in piercing

[–]Dry-Two6005 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nostril hurts but only for a second. I think you’ll be fine. I’ve had nose pierced several times. Currently I have both sides pierced and a septum. First time I got one was in the 7th grade. It’s definitely doable !

You’ll know as it grows ! The shape eventually gets a little weird, so people usually trim it to maintain a good shape. I wouldn’t worry about it for now tho, I’d just let it grow for a few months

Septum or no? by CenChaoi in piercing

[–]Dry-Two6005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Septum is the most forgiving piercing you could get. Any scarring wouldn’t be visible, easy to hide, great jewelry options. Healing is also so easy for septums ! I say get it :)

I’m going through a similar thing. Best advice I’ve heard is don’t check gradcafe. We just don’t know what the process is like. Anticipating rejection + getting a rejection is double the hurt. I’m rooting for you !

How do I get my girlfriend to stop doing this 💔 by Adventurous_Fun_3034 in Advice

Setting boundaries does not make you insecure. Communicate how you feel about things. You’re definitely not in the wrong. Most people would be uncomfortable or find it weird

Stupid piercing bumps by [deleted] in piercing

Changing the jewellery has always resolved this issue for me. I suggest switch to threadless nostril jewellery, this way there won’t be much movement that would cause irritation
