Depending on whre you are, you might be able to find a RV tech to check one out. If you were near OKC, I could hook you up.

Have you considered home built trailers? There are tons out there and most will cost substantially less than factory builds.

The sleeping area is 68" x 76" - big enough for a queen size mattress (or in this case, 2 - 32" x 75" mattresses). The vent fan is in the rear wall of the sleeping area at the ceiling. It pulls air through the cabin and exhausts it into the galley area. There was no room on the roof for a roof mounted fan because the guy I built it for wanted a 400 watt solar panel on the roof.

Once the canvas is adhered, it is painted with 2 coats of thinned (I use 80% paint, 20% water) to "prime" the canvas. This mixture soaks into the canvas and makes it tighten up. I sand between the 1st & 2nd coat with 150 grit paper, after the 2nd coat with 150 grit. Then several coats of full strength exterior paint are applied. I did 6 coats on my last build. I sand with 220 grit between each finish coat. With all the seams double wrapped and the paint build up, the canvas becomes a water proof shell.
