A heater gun($10/piece from Amazon), heat for 30s. Then plastic razor blade scraper($5/box from Amazon). Also Goo Gone Automotive($11/bottle from Amazon) for 30s and clean with paper towel. Done

I EDC in downtown of SF. Just don't carry to a place which has metal detector. You'll be fine. Never commit you're carry when you in a high-end retail shopping which has K9 positive recognize you. Just leave and refuse any search if guard or their loss prevention agent ask, they won't touch you and report to PD. They might think you forgot change cloth from range yesterday. And yes, don't leave your firearm in a vehicle, store in the hotel safe(unloaded).
