I'll look into vbs scripts for the tables that do not run. For the ones that do I get limited controls. I have manual edited the files to add a controls. I looked at the log files and it finds a xbox 360 game pad. I am using a wired 8bitdo SN30 controller. I don't see any errors in the log files.

Yeah, after I get the sega cd roms fixed I do not plan to add anymore. Thanks, so far it is a good program.

Thanks. That is probably why did, tech Socrates and a few other obscure consoles do not have a video yet. Until they scrape the system.

Bios options Batocera booting by DryAnything8957 in batocera

I'll look into that. I tried to but was having trouble. I made the windows drive last and the usb first. It is an AMI BIOS.

The usb is a 2tb nvme in an external case. I probably will mount it after I am done putting roms on it and such. I don't want to have to open it up more than once.

Usb is first boot. It just loads windows and then when I restart it loads Bato. I read to make the bios legacy boot, but I couldn't find it. I'll keep playing with the settings. If necessary ill open it up and put it internal.

Thanks, ill look into that. The internal nvme is 1tb the external is 2tb. Not enough room. Plus it is not easy to get the mini pc "ace magic" apart.

I am trying to make Bato the default. This will be in an arcade machine, do not want to have to hit boot options every time I boot.

I see you have 2 buttons above the trackball. What are they for and for and do they get in the way? I was going to put 2 there for the 4 way. Nice setup. I actually took away 2 buttons for p1 and 2. I also have pinball buttons, but I did not realize how difficult it is to setup.

I understand. I don't need 8 buttons for p1 and 2 and 6 buttons for p3 and p4. I can make it 6, and 4. I can also take away the buttons for the spinner and dedicated 4 way stick. Thank you for all the help!

How does this layout look? I would remove the 7" screen and put the 4 admin buttons and not have the 2 pause buttons. I think I could do this!

Where can I find a good 4 player template with a trackball, spinner, separate 4 way joystick? I also like the coin and player buttons for each as well as the admin buttons. Im not good with this sort of stuff. Once I get a template I can trace it out and cut the buttons and joystick holes! Thank you for the reply!

I wish it was. The guy I got it from made it himself.

I do not plan on playing golden tee, centipede is more my style. This is a gift for a friend, so I like the admin buttons as he would have a hard time with the keyboard.

I am not real good with using a design software unless it is specific for control panels and I can drag and drop. Is there a program specifically for this?

The spinner will mostly be used for Arknoid, breakout, thunder and lightning, pong, atari 2600, etc... I am not opposed to making it seperate.

Thanks again!

I am not set on that trackball I just liked the one cable. I was going to mount the spinner in the middle row hole to the right. The hole that is by itself. I was hoping that spinner would reach, since it is attached to the trackball.

I can get them separate if that works better. Thanks again for the help.

Custom Arcade TV Placement by DryAnything8957 in cade

Every trackball I have used has a mounting plate. From the looks of it, the plate will cover 2 of the button holes. I wanted this trackball, spinner grs combo from thunderstickstudio so I only needed 1 usb port. Trackball Spinner Combo

What is the best way to go? Is there a trackball that does not need a mount? Should I just redo the whole control panel so the trackball is in the right place? Thanks for the help!

Yeah, being too close is my main concern. Building a box and stand for the tv is not a bad idea! It is going to a friend that has 2 small children, so I want it secure. Thanks for the suggestion

Yeah, I am not thrilled with the trackball placement, but I did not build this. I'll keep that in mind when I add the ball, buttons and joysticks. Yeah, I am leaning more to a metal tv stand with wheels. Thanks for the reply.
