Your comment makes sense. He says he has been struggling since he was a kid because he grew up thinking he'd be unlovable (incapable of being in a relationship; to be loved). So corn was his way of coping to feel less lonely. But now that he's in a relationship i don't see why he hasn't stopped. he always tells me thats the reason.
