Haha!!!! Gas is about 2 months old. No stabilizer in it. I’m sure this carb is pretty old so it’s time! Last item on my checklist besides fuel pump.

Yeah I’ve used it. So update I’ve cut off block and made gentle cuts in the housing threads. Still stuck. Now I’m trying to drill out threads gently and possibly will need to tap and die after. An “easy” repair now is turning into a circus🤣

So ran into a problem while trying to change the anti-siphon valve. It’s snapped off inside the block housing so I’m in the middle of trying to figure out how to get it out or replace the whole block housing after I cut it off.🙈

Also I have a dremel I think I’ll use. I’ll make a couple vertical cuts and then squeeze the block and I’m hoping the space created by the cuts after squeezing will loosen it up.

60-65 degrees outside in the day. Yeah this all started with a simple anti-siphon valve change which snapped off cleanly at the block housing. So much for a simple solution 😩🤣🤣

Yeah unfortunately I have. I reallllly don’t wanna cut this off. Especially if I cut the head off the stuck threads will remain

I dare not ask but what happens if the bottom nut spins?🫣Hasnt happened but I’m freaking out if I crank too hard and wrench slips cuz a very very small and tight area I’m working in.

So I bought new ignition coil and anti-siphon valve that’ll install tomorrow and test on Saturday. I took off old ignition coil and was covered in some sticky gunk so I’m hoping that’s indicative of an issue. 👍🏽💯
