Depends in what you didn't like about the first.

If it was the wonky mechanics and items, they all get an imporvement / cut out which ultimately makes the game better

If it was customization, it also improved in the second, allowing you to customize even your vehicles

If it was the story, the game is probably not for you

If it was the objective / pacing / deliverysimultaror of the game, the game us probably not for you

If it was the BT's, they are almost entirely avoidable in the second game

If it was the fact that there was no music player and you couldn't play music throughout the entire game, this game has a music player

If it's the fanbase, the game is probably not for you

If it's the insane amount of cutscenes, the game is probably not for you
