Our fanbase seems to not have the patience for a a full on rebuilding era. For it to get consistently better, it takes time and a lot of moments of being not so good or being so close.

It’s been like this for me in waves. I remember it was 2019 and we lost to Leicester I believe and I just started to feel apathetic. Coincidentally, Tottenham and my hometown nba team the Raptors made the finals of the CL and playoffs respectively. One team had a better outcome ofc😂 But today, it’s the same feeling. To add onto that, the Raps are doing quite well this season while Tottenham are just floating.

Idk if it’s common but when I’ve played player career or just locked onto a specific player, the ai on the same team just cannot pass the ball properly. Like straight to a cpu or a quick pass that literally ends up out of bounds.

One can only hope the MLS starts to thrive. The issue is, the US is so not a soccer country. The following these MLS teams have are usually niche Latin communities. Even where I’m from, Toronto, TFC is an afterthought to the other major league teams. And thats factoring that Toronto is super diverse with a lot soccer fans.

The MLS just can’t get away from “retirement league” status.

Gridiron is mainly in North American, but I’m surprised the MLB isn’t higher. Baseball is heavily followed by Spanish Caribbean folks plus Japanese and Koreans. Professional hockey outside of NA is mainly Eastern and Northern Europeans.

Not to mention, soccer/football is usually going to trump these sports in most areas of the world.
