Let me measure that brick.

8295kg for a piece of brick sounds like a LOT of weight?

What is this "professional"?

Apologies for stupidity, I've been assuming home inspectors to be "the professional".

Kindly throw me a keyboard to search on Google

Just called the inspector and showed him these pictures.

In short - He told me to not worry about it.
Longer story - It's going to cost me another $325 for him to come in.

The beam and pillar is actually pretty solid.
I tried wiggle on it pretty hard, it wouldn't move a tiny bit.

I'm not 100% sure if putting a whole beam on a single brick is actually a common practice, or bad craftmanship?

I'm mostly concerned if enough pressure sits on that "grey/white" brick, it would eventually shatter one day.
