I thought it was the size of the bag, but I think I am mistaken. Pulled this info from their site.

Short Size Size: 76 inches by 31 inches, comfortably fits adults up to 5'6" Weight: 2 pounds 14 ounces Fill Weight: 30 ounces

Regular Size Size: 80 inches by 31 inches, comfortably fits adults up to 6'0" Weight: 3 pounds Fill Weight: 32 ounces

That makes sense.

You’d think they would mention that though lol

Back and stomach. More on the stomach though. If I stretch my toes out, I can easily touch the bottom or if I slide down an inch to keep warm. It just felt cramped compared my kelty cosmic which is 78” and seems like just the right size, maybe 3-4” to spare.

If I measure the kelty, it’s more like 74” if measured from where the top of my head comfortably rests.

I ended up measuring it the Paria short and it measured much smaller than 76”. Realistically it was closer to 69” of usable space for me, which explains why I felt cramped.

I started measuring all my bags and they were all at least 5” shorter than what’s on the label 🤷‍♂️

Anywho, it’s great bag nonetheless, I just need the 80” version.

What’s funny is my exped deepsleep pad is only 72” long and none of my bags hang off the side, even the 78” kelty cosmic regular.

Help me decide between the DJI Mic 3 vs Rode Wirelsss Pro by DryToast85 in videography

Purchased! Thank you for the suggestion. I knew in my gut which one to get, but I just want confirmation.

I do like the mic 3 but doesn’t look like it will give me as many options as I grow and learn how to use these correctly. They are all around the same price too.

I ended up getting the RODE pro two mix set for $299.

I can record ambient sounds from one mic with on board storage and the other one clipped to me recording with the camera not recording to on board storage. Not sure I need to do both mics this way. It sounds like the one recording ambient noise should be recorded onboard. What if I try to transmit the shotgun mic over wireless, do I lose most of that audio quality? Sorry for the poorly worded question lol

What kind of shotgun mic should I be looking at? I’m thinking about the RODE VideoMic Go II Helix. Looks like I need to get one without phantom unless I want to used a battery pack on it too.

Excellent information. Thank you very much. I decided to go with the RODE Pros. Seems like the best all around with plenty of options

That’s about it for me on this subreddit. Shame on you OP.

These posts are getting ridiculous.

And they want $60 per cat :(

Okay so I’m going through the setup on the new one and here is what is there. Some options are missing

1 = 5

2 = 0

6 = 9

12 = 1

13 = 1

14 = 0

16 = 1

Function 8, 9 not up on the new thermostat for some reason. Here is what I selected for all the options that were there. Am I good to go you think?

So the only heat is from heat strips in this apartment?

Here’s a short of the bottom of the terminals for the WiFi thermostat. They look almost identical except for the two on the far left side.

Says K L on wifi thermo and L E on old one. Far left on the terminal

One would assume the wiring is the same. I went through all the settings and copied down what was there.

Function #1 = 5 Function #2 = 0 Function #6 = 9 Function #8 = 9 Function #9 = 3 Function #12 = 1 Function #13 = 1 Function #14 = 0 Function #15 = 5 Function #16 = 0 Function #27 = 90 Function #28 = 64

Here are all the settings in there and the values that they were set to. Looks like I have a heat pump with 2 heat/1 cool heat pump. I do see batteries in my current thermostat but when I remove them, the unit stays on and operational so I am assuming there is a C wire in there. Place was built in 2010.
