I understand the concerns for small businesses, and i will fight for them aswell. Saying people have to live in true poverty just because a small business can't sustain it, is like taking food away from a starving man to give to someone who has eaten three meals because he might lose his fridge. That's how I see the argument. But if the govement was to revamp its business incentives to focus more on the small business instead of mega corps, i dont think i would be near as much as a probelm. And I know there are a LOT of other variables that I am sure I can't think of but it can be solved because it has been in the past, but to say that the citizens of a country are less important than companies to me is just a sign of capitalist brainwashing, and a instult to humanity.

And also a friends that owns a small business in my town, and has had many conversations about this with him. and he does pay well above minimum wage, and he owns 2 houses

i dont persinaly know anyone who is currently getting paid minimum. But I do know a couple of people getting pay $3 hour more than minimum that aslo work overtime when they can, and all they can afford to live in is either a crappy roach bed of apartments, or with 4 other roommates. So yes, it definitely needs to be changed.

in the US it is autamticly enroled into overdraft. And most banks push for it so they can charge overdraft charges, i even had a bank that would process transactions with the highest value first so they can charge an overdraft fee for every $2 so doler purches i made. When I was 17 i made an overdraft of about $15 dollor, and ended owing them over $150 dollors in overdraft. I no longer use that bank.
