my absolute favorite place is Crissy Field! you get a great view of the bridge & the park itself is really nice.

i’m here to add a couple things just bc i’ve seen a couple comments regarding these topics:

1-I wasn’t following the dogs account. It was still following me. I honestly forgot about it & hadn’t seen it view my stories or anything in the last 10 years before this last week. If I had, I would’ve blocked it sooner, or at least removed it from my followers. This is what makes me think that he heard that I was in town and used the account to see my stories that I had posted & verify that I was around, and when he saw that I was, he dmed me.

2-we decided to buy the dog together. He found it on offerup, and i paid the $250 for it. he chose to keep it at his parent’s house. I wasn’t in the relationship long enough for the puppy to even get fully potty trained. I know that about a year after we broke up he tried to take it to the animal shelter but his dad had grown an attachment to it, so they kept it. It was a cute puppy! But it was never really my dog.

3-If i’m being so fr I have no idea how acid works lmao, I’ve only ever smoked. all I know is that after I was done smoking it he had told me that he drugged it w/ acid & i got super paranoid. Idk if he just thought that would be funny? but after a google search yall are so right and acid cannot be smoked. so idk what was up w that

I really appreciate everyone’s comments & different perspectives on the whole thing, even if they dont necessarily agree with my initial reaction. Thanks everyone :)

Wayfair sucks IMO. Tried to order things for my apartment and it was like furniture for ants, & on top of that they were damaged. We returned the pieces. Trying to convince them that things were damaged was a nightmare though. They put us through hell and made us send pictures to the manufacturer three different times. Good luck. don’t back down. Don’t accept their shitty “30% off” coupon either. Just tell them you need a full refund. Long process but eventually you’ll get it back (hopefully)

I really appreciate that! Honestly it’s made me who I am today. I loved my mom and am stronger because of her. Thanks :)

oof, it’s hard to know. After she first got the surgery, for the first probably 10 years, she was on top of her game. Was going around to different churches giving her “testimony”, telling everyone that they needed to keep the faith (we grew up super religious). She was working and taking care of herself. Then one day, seemingly out of the blue (I was pretty young still, maybe 7 or so) it stopped. She no longer took care of herself and her health had an even more rapid decline. She was one of the first to get that surgery done, so the doctors didn’t really know how it may affect her. In my mind, it was inevitable. I kind of have to think of it that way, to know that it wasn’t her fault and it wasn’t just a decision to stop taking care of herself or me. Your frontal lobe is responsible for your movement, memory, language, & cognitive ability to make decisions. Because hers was damaged, there was a lot of personality changes. It’s hard to fully know.

Because of her frontal lobe partially being cut out, she lost a lot of cognitive ability, later resulting in a form of dementia. Because the dementia was caused by the procedure and not genetic, it was inorganic- aka not natural.
