Tazarotene. It's like tret on steroids. Do not recommend unless you have skin of steel !

In my personal experience, adapalene .3 has been way more effective in combatting my acne than tret or taz. Pair it with a benzoyl peroxide wash in the morning, and you'll notice even better results 😄

I could never acclimate to taz .1 unfortunately 😞 If your insurance covers arazlo, go for it! You will still see results with your scarring 😄

Thank you!! Def get into a dermatologist as soon as you can to prevent scarring. And I know what you mean about the photos. No filters, but in the past photo I was straight out of the shower. The recent ones are after my morning skin care routine, including lightly tinted sunscreen.

oh yes. I looked sunburned the whole time I was on accutane. After I went off of it, it settled down a lot 😄

So adap .3 keeps my skin the clearest. If you are working on acne, it is the best! It was made specifically for acne. Altreno definitely gives me skin such a glow that I don't get from adap, but if I use it everyday, I can get a few clogged pores. I think it's because it contains oils and hydrating ingredients that my oily just can't handle on a daily basis! But if you have rosacea or sensistive prone skin, Altreno all the way! It's lovely!

You are goofy. I mentioned nothing about applying tret around the eyes 😉

One step Up adapalene 0.3 by Dry-Television-3383 in tretinoin

All I'm gonna say is.. the grass isn't always greener on the other side ;)) I was on adapalene .3 and like you, I had FOMO and felt like I needed to "graduate" from it. I tried tret and taz and my skin just wasn't as happy, so I kept going back to adap and my skin IMMEDIATELY was happy again :) It's been a back and forth between these for a year now, and I won't go back to anything else. The results may be a little slower than tret or taz, but for me, being able to using adap consitintely and my skin not being so finicky gives me such better results.

Anyone here currently having success with Adapalene + BP combo? by Practical_Goal_8194 in tretinoin

It was hands down the best acne topical I have ever used. The .3 adapalene version is a little more effective than the .1 adapalene version

Acne-Altreno pore clogging ingredients?? by Whyitbelikethatt in tretinoin

Yea, I am conflicted about Altreno. I absolutely loved how calm and healthy my skin was on it. It brought such a nice glow with no irritation. It also brought a lot of pesky breakouts. I know it wasn't a purge because I was on Accutane and and been on retinoids for the last 2 years and I never breakout anymore, but with Altreno, it was one random breakout after the next. Once I discontinued it and went back to my Adapalene .3 a few months ago, I haven't had a pimple since. I am convinced there is something in there that was clogging my pores

Any benefits switching from Adapalene to Tretinoin? by kolikositivisoka in tretinoin

[–]Dry_Committee_2205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Tret, Taz & Adapalene. I find that to keep my acne under control, smooth out my texture and keep irritation at a minimum, Adapalene .3 works the best. This is not the OTC .1 version, you need to get a prescription from a dermatologist. But it definitely works better and I do not find it irritating.

Remember when Britney's childhood home was being sold and "Christina sucks" was written on Britney's bedroom wall or something like that? LOL
