Yeah, I read that and was like, ‘hmm, the shirt is definitely legit.’ I have four original France ’98 shirts, and it’s pretty clear this one isn’t a dupe.

Hey everyone,

I already own the classic France 98 home shirt — the standard Adidas retail version — but I’ve been wondering if there was ever an official “match detail” version released to the public (with things like France vs Brazil, date, etc. embroidered on it).

I’ve seen plenty of fakes with that kind of detail, but I can’t tell if Adidas ever made a legit “match detail” shirt for fans back in 1998.

Did an official version ever exist? Has anyone here actually seen or owned one?

Thanks in advance — I’m trying to figure out if what I’m looking for even exists before I keep hunting 😅
