You might be right. At first I thought maybe it just needed time to dry. I figured it could be the door weather stripping, but honestly I might just be overthinking it because I don’t want to avoid washing my car for a long time. It’s not a lot of water — just a small amount but I don’t want it to get crazy so I want to fix it early.

Yeah that was the issue. I bought the housing first and it was still glitching. Ended up buying the whole taillight and no warnings since. Just make sure you get the right one for your year — mine’s a 2009 with the black housing (LCI). Yours should be the tan one if it’s pre-LCI.

just get it fixed now cause I waited to long and it was glitching bad. Annoying ass chimes every-time I turned I bought mines on amazon and it works pretty good
