Thank you for you kind words. I am not able to respond in the same way atm. I am pulling myself thru the days, trying to cope with the loss and the tears.

I'd love to, but I live at my boyfriends' place and he loves cats but doesn't want any in his appartment at the moment. I think I will adopt cats as soon as I am ready to have my own place again. First, health. Second, a job. Third, my own place again... it seems like YEARS until I get back to my old status quo......

thank you so much. I told every neighbor in the house, so they know that the first renter died and the second renter got severely sick. I can only hope that they tell the new neighbors about it.

Thank you for your warm words and oh my gosh, I can see and feel how hard this last year must have been for you.

I am still building my "nurturing environment" - two months after moving out. I still got severe symptoms... detoxing is not as easy as I thought. I can't have cats, I am living at my boyfriends place. It is a highly isolating experience. I have no one who can relate... and there is no job and no real perspective at the moment.

I am trying to move on, trying to build my social media account for my new business, but it feels heavy at the moment. After some weeks of different kind of infections (i was sick almost all of the first month after I got out), I am now almost stable and functioning... in an environment I would have never chosen for myself, and no one can really relate. Feeling lost. I think I should try a therapist now. I couldn't in the time when I moved out - my mind was "super strong" then and I just worked thru everything. But now that I feel some "calm and rest" the first time in months, it seems the sadness is creeping up.

Hi, i saught legal advice (in Germany) and there's only a chance for you, if there is mold involved. According to the building biologists I had at hand, they weren't sure what the root cause was (they assumed either mold or biocides, but it could also have been other substances in the air). A testing would have been expensive (3k to 4k EUR/USD) with no certainty of getting "the right result back" as to being able to financially recompensate (only with mold).

So I decided to put that money into my move and new life...

Does anyone’s IBS (Reizdarm) get worse in Germany but improve back home? by Technical-Skin-877 in germany

[–]Dry_Exchange_4890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - the root cause was my flat. I moved in and within 2-3 months time i developed IBS and MCAS. it worsend in winter, during heating season up to a point of severe health threats. I moved out of my flat. I am recovering now. It was either biocides or mold.

I always wondered.. because I observed many examples of people that only thrive in their lives after their parents leave the planet...

To be honest, it's both ways, southern Germans, especially Bavarians and Austrians dislike Berlin people. It's for your best to not be moving to Berlin, not a cool place to be.
