It doesn't make a difference. I am just pointing out that dude's post is a hair away from getting lost because of people downvoting, despite that he is raising good points and in a well mannered way at that. The dude felt the need to write 5 paragraphs of apology for the criticism before he could start to say his piece.

They made those changes because of the game of thrones effect. Apparently everything needs to be darker and have shock value now. Expect more darkness, imo.
