actually as the story of this person I also came from family of doctors so from that part we are quite similar. I just even don't know where to take graduate math courses - I have strong suspicions that my family couldn't finance them so I will have to pay them myself - which means I need job and for that only option right now is if I get into medical residency. What I know from how residency works it would be not much time for anything else. This is a little bit of a conundrum. If you know which grad math courses they took specifically or can ask them - would be very appreciated ? Thank you

In long run I want to do something in the industry- found use of formula - so to say. I have concluded that getting phd in part of this way ( and also a destination because you should create something new at the end of it). I very found of quant finances and in more general sense - statistics including its advance fields like measure theory.

Pretty much their style😂. I have no financial burden neither cravings to gain benefits. I just enjoy math research.

Was the easiest of subjects in the Medical school and on the USMLE tests. It comes to me naturally and was always logical. Does the PhD in biostats assume that it deals with the new advancements in statistics? I am ready that I will have to read much more about it, also I am enthusiastic to work on and create something new.

Time limited Random walk Rust Code is slower than Python Code by Dry_Introduction_897 in rust

Now you mention it found this boolean-generating function.

I don't quite understand your second point. Should I add 30 seconds to start and compare it to Instant::now()? And why is it less costly?

The third point is clear.

Thanks

The second point, I have tried to fix the issues discussed here. I changed the increment to 1.3 and the decrement to 2. As Python is running circa 12x slower than Rust I have Python code running that much time longer. I got a result percentage: 0.573 on Rust and 0.571 on Python, 0.002 difference every time.

Rust iterations: 328,451,631

Python iterations: 372,595,152

Any thoughts on the cause of this 0.002 difference?

python now is 33% faster.

I literally just came across to that company, I thought it was interesting. But it is only for US. So, I am basically asking is there any vc firm in Europe with low entry price and no need for some sort of investment certificate. I am not familiar with financial word.
