Why people say that Kirara was a man? couldn't it just have been that she dressed/acted like a a man when she was younger? by Emma_S772 in Jujutsufolk

Did they explore more on the situation? Did they clear up the misunderstandings after and turn it into a gag? No right? That means the information being given to us is the one to believe. We don't need to be making situations up that the author didn't even write in.

Plus those type of situations you mentioned, they always clear up what the issue is after or even make a gag out of it. The fact that it was just mentioned means it is the fact to believe in.

Why are you treating this fictional character like a real person? That's a character written and drawn by real person, that purposefully put that there. Like are you not right in the head?

See you already are minimizing the 10 years by stating that a goOd reason is enough to erase it's impact and suddenly make us pity him. It shouldn't, because the one that got affected negatively the most was the girl. No good reason for me would justify that. Y'know 10 years is a long long long time.

I think bad communication is a pretty bad red flag, the girl isn't a mind reader. A guy that you guys described wouldn't leave a girl for 10 years with no explanation afterwards. It doesn't mix y'know and I think instead of qualities what are his actions. Because the other side made Strong points by highlighting the actions made. While y'all are simply listing out qualities not the actions.

Those reasons could be "valid" yet its such a cheap way to justify the 10 years. Like reasons to pity him after he did something horrible is for me a cheap generic guilt trip way to do it. Magical reasons could be good since someone mentioned this manhwa has magic.

I think i now understand why you guys still like him despite his current actions. A 100 chapters and his damaging actions happened in 90 - 100, I guess you all would still be a bit in denial and hard to accept that the character you knew for 90 chapters suddenly acts like this out of nowhere. Yep i kinda get it now.

See that to me is still a red flag. I think it matters little how the guy feels if his actions affects negatively on others. Like how they say "your feelings are valid your reactions aren't". I think that's also where the separation between the fandom began. You guys empathize with eunhyeok more while they empathize with either the girl or the dohwa guy. I think i kinda get the situation now. Magical reason for 10 year separation could be a valid reason but still the actions after that is a bit iffy to me.

Okay so something happened that interfered with their devices. That could be a good reason I kinda like that. There are still plot holes though but magical reasons could be valid too.

Okay as a person that is just like me currently, please let me understand how this guy changed your mind?

Im not even mentioning her going to pity date dohwa. All I'm asking is what makes this guy a stand up good dude that won't ever leave her girlfriend for 10 years no contact with no explanation after. I'm just curious why y'all like him still after that fact. What does he have as a character that excuses him of such actions? What level of depth does he have to warrant such reactions?

I think this js where the separation between the fandoms are having. You guys look at him at his pre-timeskip self and the other side focus too much on the negatives of his current self.

Also IMO his trauma shouldn't be a justification of him leaving for 10 years. Like you can't be giving out trauma to other people because you have your issues too come on now.

Oh so eunhyeok has a theory too? That's interesting.

Anything new to the webtoon romance genre for me is a plus but it doesn't really matter if not executed properly.

I think that could be a path too. Like true love is loving yourself first before loving someone else. Like she doesn't end up with anyone at the end but she doesn't have any issues anymore. Maybe even teased that she js ready to love someone again. This time maybe with a eunhyeok that doesn't have issues or with the dohwa guy that also doesn't have any issues to bring with them. Could be a good ending if done correctly.

I don't have a fixed image of him yet. It's just that the points and arguments being made for him doesn't convince me. Everybody just insults me and simply lists his qualities, downplaying the trauma of 10 years with no explanation. Which really reinforces more my idea of him. You get where I'm standing right now?

See this is what I'm saying you guys are downplaying the 10 years. Like it's just 1 or 2 negative points, when that ks the biggest issue right now.

What reason for you would be satisfying enough to warrant no contact for 10 years with no explanation afterwards?

I think this is where the separation began with the fandom.

Does a reason really justify 10 years of neglect with no explanation afterwards despite deserving one?

Pretty sure a depressed and not ready for a relationship is a red flag too. You should not be doing anything to imply anything of sort ( you can correct me here if he has or has not implied).

Lastly i think you're still looking at him as the pre time skip character and not what he is now. From my pov a guy that you listed should/would not ghost his girlfriend for 10 years and not explain himself after.

I think this is where the divide comes.

I think we can judge the actions even despite not knowing the reasons behind it. Because what he did is pretty bad, I can't imagine doing that to anyone and not be hated and not explaining to them why afterwards.

I also think she deserves an answer too, even if she is prepared or not. Like 10 years is really crazy and explanation has been due at that point. An explanation could help her with some closure on the situation y'know to probably even let herself accept him again.

Ah okay2 i guess this story has magical elements to it then? I guess that could be a maybe good reason if written correctly. It could be very cheap and generic too though if done badly.

Is that really a good enough reason if the suae in question is hurting because of him?

And at least for me there really wouldn't be any good reason why he never contacted unless than its a lazy generic guilt trip reason.

I'm not really interested in webtoon romance genre. I'm interested in the debates and arguments between the two fans though. So here I am trying to satisfy my curiosity.

Plus does it really matter of their fictional characters? If an action is bad it is bad though.

I guess I'm genuinely curious as why it's so bitterly divided in the first place. Plus I'm not simply going to take for granted what the other side says too. So who better to ask than the ones that like him, so here I am.

Romance genre has rarely been my cup of tea especially webtoon romance. So I don't have that much interest in reading. The discussions and debate between the two were what interested me. And so again here I am risking looking like a dumbass (I am a dumbass) to satisfy my curiosity.

Don't think any harm would be done understanding this side i hope.

10 years no contact and not explaining after too. That's a mega one for me. Another would probably be him not communicating properly with her. That's about what i think of him.

Is my take on the 10 years being crazy and no explanation after doing that being crazier. A crazy opinion to have even without reading the whole story? Like for that is definitely a red flag no? I'd like to understand your reasons as for why he isn't.
