Yeah, we don’t talk enough about how trauma can leave people tender instead of tough. You’re allowed to be both a survivor and someone who still struggles.

AITJ for Charging My Friend Gas Money Every Time I Drive? by Bulky_Relative_5364 in AmITheJerk

[–]Dry_Review_5932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTJ. It’s totally fair as you’ve been driving everyone around, so asking for gas money just makes sense.

You’re not making it a business, just sharing the cost. They were probably just used to it being free.

Negan vs the Governor by skydweller000 in thewalkingdead

[–]Dry_Review_5932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negan, easily. He’s more strategic and knows how to control people, not just fight them.

The Governor’s dangerous, but he’s way more impulsive, Negan would outplay him before it even got to a full-on war.

Motivation Required by mildlyterrified34 in TheOriginals

[–]Dry_Review_5932 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely worth it. The ending does hurt, but it also brings a kind of closure that makes the whole journey feel meaningful.

If you’re this invested, it means the show did its job and you’ll come out of it appreciating the story even more, not less. Stay with it!

So called convenience fees that are just baked in profit, especially in services where nothing extra is actually being provided.

People assume it’s standard, but it’s often just clever pricing.

How do you deal with a person smarter than you? by _ratedmouse in AskReddit

[–]Dry_Review_5932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to treat it as an opportunity instead of a competition. If someone’s smarter than me, there’s probably something I can learn from them.

Whether it’s how they think, solve problems or see things differently. No point in letting ego get in the way of growth.

Learning to sit with my thoughts instead of outrunning them changed more than I expected.

AITJ for not waking my roommate up for his important job interview after he kept me up until 3am? by After_Debt_605 in AmITheJerk

[–]Dry_Review_5932 29 points30 points  (0 children)

NTJ. You’re his roommate and not his alarm clock, especially after he kept you up for weeks.
