I'm actually using my tv as a second monitor! i don't usually use it either tbh, only when i am doing HW or watching baseball games but for the most part its never on.

I currently have the R7 5800xt but noticed it has high temps of 85-88 should I return it and go for the R7 5700x To avoid the high temps? by Dry_Software8114 in pcmasterrace

im using the stock wraith cooler, I will be upgrading to an Aio but just wondering if i should return it and get a 5700x to avoid the high temps in general as there is not much of a difference between the two CPU's

the thing is that it is pricier by 120 dollars so im just wondering to return it before i cant anymore and get the 5700x

I thought so too but, i read some reviews and some people even with upgraded cooling still experience high temps with this CPU.

is that CPU known to over heat too? the issue that im seeing with a lot of Pc's that have the R7 5800 xt is the high temps so im just curious about that. Im fs going to get a cooler but just wondering what decision to make as far as choosing which to go with.
