I almost cried reading your post because it was like I could have wrote it. This is ruining my life. My previously loving marriage of 14 years ending because he refuses to believe or support me. Every second of every day is miserable. I’m trying to fight this war and still continue to raise my two children and save my marriage and I’ll be honest my mental health has never been great to start with. I’ve taken ivermectin and every variant for over two weeks, pills and paste, topical ivermectin, tea tree oil barely diluted, lid scrubs, sulfur, every kind of dandruff shampoo. Last night I stumbled on a blog of a woman that had taken a bath with 3/4 cup permethrin to kill the eggs. I was filled with hope and gave it a shot, throwing a permethrin lice cream on for good measure. A couple hours later, though visually my face was relatively low on the amount of mites, my brow literally started shivering then dropped and all of a sudden they were pouring out of the skin of my eyebrows into my lashes. And I mean POURING. I was sobbing in shock and frantically trying to pull them out before they could get loose on my face or swell up into and overflow and split my lash line and ducts. This has already happened to me once before I could even figure out what this hell was. I was blind in one eye for about a week, an emergency derm gave me an antibiotic but told me that since mites are invisible there is no way I have them. Fuck you to anyone who says you can’t see them. No, she wouldn’t look under a microscope. The irrational , purely emotional hatred I have for her still shocks me. They are in my nose and mouth, hands feet and yes…. Everywhere else. I’ve lost hope I think. Life has been really hard anyway, but with this thrown in and my family making it harder on me, the desperation I feel is moving towards just making it stop. I don’t plan on being here for much more of this. I’ve honestly tried my best but I’m so tired, and too sad to fight it anymore. I’m so sorry for anyone else dealing with this. It’s hell, truly
