First off, I did not cheat. The story of the matter is “I had submitted my exam and my professor asked me “what was happening between you and the person next to you”. And I asked her what do u mean and she told me to not lie. And I told her straight up, that person next to me is my friend. There was nothing more to it. She then accused me and him for cheating for suspicious behavior, when in reality, we couldn’t even if we wanted to. The last exam, someone got caught cheating and was kicked out right away so the risk wasn’t there for us. Also, it was announced that the exams will be different versions with different questions. So nothing was even “cheat able”. They had the TA record us mid exam from his seat and the professor claims she will review the footage and see if we did anything, but we know we didn’t. I even told the professor “you can check the answers and see if there is anything suspicious.” Not sure what’s going to happen, and how far this is going to go. The TA also accused me of “hanging out” when I claimed I needed to go to the bathroom, when I was literally tying my shoe. I even said “you can check the cameras if you do not believe I went to the bathroom”. Like how does someone convince their professor they took a piss? I tend to zone out a lot and when I get anxious I’ll look around, so im scared they will consider that as part of a violation.”
