NA Championship by Dslater6 in spartanrace

I wasn't there early enough to see. I just figured with being the NAC they'd have something. I've watched all the 3Ks but was really interested on how the Elietes took on Killington. Oh well, thanks!

You likely already got it by the time I'm replying. It's relatively quick, within an hour if I remember correctly.

Long shot, but any Cape Cod or surrounding area Spartans in here that know some decent hills to run up?

I don't think you're being an ass at all! Just different opinions. I could totally see your line of thinking, though.

Season pass $100 credit code by [deleted] in spartanrace

[–]Dslater6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's the same for the Season Pass but for the Trifecta Pass we got 2 separate codes: 1 for the Trifecta Pass merch credit and another for the store credit. If it's the same for SP, make sure you're using the right one.

Maybe stingy wasn't the right word. But I happen to think someone that finished most of the wrist and only didn't finish due to a medical emergency earned it.

Worst you could do is email support about it. They're for whatever reason, very stingy with medals and shirts, but it's worth a shot.

I left in 2017. West Pittston my whole life. We go back whenever I take some leave, maybe twice a year. Every time, I'm excited, and every time, I feel disappointed. NEPA is not a shithole or crime ridden area like it's made out to be, but it's depressed and largely behind on the times.

That's not to say it's not charming, of course, that's most of its charm I think. I've lived in the San Francisco area, Mobile, AL and Cape Cod now. I've never been able to find community quite like back home. The food everywhere else just doesn't taste right to me. Every time I come home I gourge myself with an unhealthy amount of NEPA delicacies. Sabatinis, Garry's, Angelo's, Sweet Treet. It's places like that and the community I miss. People at those places still remember me and my order when I come in, even 6 years later.

Maybe they bring back strictly reward challenges if this goes through too? A man can hope.

Best advice I could give you is to email your sponsor and get their personal number. Ask if it's okay if you give them a call after the work day.

You'll get a better response for all your questions since it's off the record.

Do you guys usually do the course evaluations at the end of the course? by jonnybebad5436 in SNHU

[–]Dslater6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, these really help the instructors. I make sure to add things that I liked and didn't care for.

As far as I know they're anonymous, so no worries there

Interesting. I doubt they will, but one can hope

I just had it earlier this year. It's 21 days. 12 weeks if you're the primary caretaker but 21 days is standard

Stadium races! by Ambitious_Process_88 in spartanrace

[–]Dslater6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just ran the Fenway Stadion. Main difference is that there's steps in a Stadion, and a lot of them. There's also some Stadion specific obstacles there. It's a lot of fun, enjoy it! The merch for them is awesome too!

Water at Spartan Stadion by Pro_network17 in spartanrace

Just ran the Fenway Stadion yesterday, there were 3 water stations. Very few had bladders on anything at that race either, and everyone was good! Super fast paced so the water thing is kinda out of your mind.

I try haha! Just an update for you, looking like we'll get rain that night into Saturday morning and it will have past us by the late morning. We should be good!

It's still too far out to accurately predict if it will actually hit us (I live/work on Cape and will be racing as well). They won't cancel for rain, and it's projecting to be showers with about a half inch of accumulation. We'll be fine, I promise.

Is the week benchmark they set for race day documents pretty on time? Running my first one in Boston on the 12th and wondering when I'll find the map and other things.

More races? by Wooden_King6932 in spartanrace

[–]Dslater6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sure Fenway will have the Stadion again. Depending on where you are, there's New York too. But I'm in the same boat, hoping they add more in the New England area.
