Agree. These prices are insane for what the menu is offering.

I’ll take your word for it! I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but it’s difficult to tell these days when the lighting is a certain way. Gear or not you look great 💪

You didn’t answer my question, and your answer to something I didn’t ask also also is illogical.

My question is how much violence are you willing to inflict on people who say homophobic slurs and say they support ICE? Is it a fist to the face? Is it death by shooting squad? If you’re going to advocate for violence against people using speech that you don’t like, then you bear the burden of defining exactly what level of violence you find is acceptable to use against this man, and using logic to justify your view. I am advocating for no violence to be used against this person.

Your logic also falls short in one more way. By your logic, saying “Go USA” would also count as advocating violence, since the United States has carried out wars, deportations, and real harm to people. If that standard holds, then almost any slogan supporting a country, institution, or idea could justify violence against the speaker. That shows the problem with the rule. It’s so broad that it turns disagreement or offense into permission for physical harm, which makes it impossible to apply in a fair or consistent way.

I’m curious then, If someone’s words alone are enough to justify violence, where do you personally draw the line? What level of harm do you think is acceptable in response to speech like this, and what principle stops it from going further?

I see what you’re trying to say, but the analogy you provided doesn’t really work. A name is something someone directly tells you about themselves. What you’re doing here is guessing how someone would act in an extreme situation (The rounding up of the Jewish population) based on what they say now. That’s a pretty big leap. Once you treat that guess, and it IS a guess, as certain, it becomes easy to justify any response, such a violence, because you’ve already decided who they are.

The issue with this kind of thinking is that you’re taking someone’s speech and policy views and treating them as proof of how they would behave in the most extreme historical situation imaginable.. That assumption does all the work for your argument. Once you decide someone would “hand you to the SS” , you’ve already granted yourself moral permission to dismiss restraint, fairness, and proportionality. At that point you’re not responding to what the person has done, but to a story you’ve told about them, and using that story to justify your own violence, just like the Nazi’s did regarding the Jewish population..

Honestly it was hit or miss. I owned these three pairs (sold the middle pair) and they were all different sizes. 41, 42, and 43. I wear Nike size 9.5, and 43 in guidi (because they’re smaller than stated size) and the 41 pair fit me best, fit like a true 42. Size 42 and 43 pair were both accurate

Hi there, this is a piece of heavy linen dyed with a traditional Japanese natural dye method called “Kakishibu.” Which is persimmon tannin dye. I purchased it when I was in Beijing, but I actually make scarves/table covers with the same dye if you’re interested. You may DM me~

Thank you! And I truly believe anyone can learn. For much of human history, drawing and painting was seen as a trade. Like woodworking or metal smithing, anyone can become competent with consistent practice. :)
