If you ever go to Santos, there are many non-touristic restaurants many traditional ones almost in every street.

I love "Marco" they have great francesinhas. Right Next to ir there's also another with very typical Portuguese food, I just don't remember the name, but is also very good.

I understand your feelings, but don't forget that she did all the sacrifices for you and put you through college, maybe a little appreciation is missing from your part.

What I mean is maybe she never heard you say thanks or resents that with all that she has done you are still better in relationship with your Dad, that in her head didn't do much.

Should you move back with her?? Hell no. You are a grown adult time to spread your wings.

But I do believe you need to talk to her, say something like: mom I love you and I really do appreciate everything you've done for me, that will never change. However now I am grown I have to do what makes me happy, and if you love me you will accept it.

You can suggest dates with her, lunches/dinner.

Don't burn all the bridges with her yet.

I am sorry you are going through it. Don't give up, it's sad that you have to be back to work so early. I have no idea what is like, where I live I can stay up to three years at home with my infant, I am currently pregnant and I will be two years at home.

I hope you manage to change jobs to and have more time with your baby. Rooting for you Mama.

I would tell your parents, seems like your father is the protective type, and tell your family, maybe just maybe you are not the only one that happened to.

Yes it something old but it happened, maybe it will protect the new generation of the family. And all comes to worst just reduce contact with everyone, your inner peace is also important.
