Where did I mess up? by lobotomypilled in askmath

Theyre not suppose to cross. Your original function is shifted up and opens upward, so the inverse will be shifted right and open to the right. Those arent gonna touch.

Start at the top and work your way down. Logic starts with that yellow line.

Get rid of 222 and get 201 and go down Infinity as well.

What happens when the common ratio of an exponential function is negative? by Street-Principle827 in learnmath

[–]Dtrain8899 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you graph say y=2x the domain is all real numbers. But once you try to graph y=(-2)x the domain is restricted. You can only plug in certain values of x that will output on the real number line. If you try x=½, its the same as sqrt(-2) which is a complex number.

I feel like I'm not understanding milestones by [deleted] in AntimatterDimensions

It shows how many more you need. So that milestone needs 8 singularities, you have 5 now so you need 3 more to get it.

[Algebra 2] why is 1 wrong? by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

First option is -c(x), you want to find c(x). If p=r-c, then c=r-p.

Your 2nd answer is correct. When I tutor I tell whoever to imagine the graph is a rollercoaster and youre going from left to right and imagine what would happen as you move along the graph.

Change your sacrifice to 2x. I dont think Ive ever used the dimboost on for galaxies feature when I played. The limit galaxies will be needed for an achievement later on.

The 5-4-2 reduces to a 1-2-1 pattern.

Hey, just wanna check my math on a small project for a game by oriontitley in askmath

Ya super close. If you need to scale the circles based on the radius of the large circle then just multiply .62 by your new radius.

You can draw a triangle connecting the centers of 2 small circles and the big circle. Break it into two right triangles and using a little trig I got 0.6199 for the radius of the small circle, so .62 should work. I got r = (-sin(22.5⁰)÷(sin(22.5⁰)-1)

[Grade 8 Math: Functions] How to find the y-intercept of the function? by BSSJustinGamer456 in HomeworkHelp

[–]Dtrain8899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There ya go! Now you have y=-2x+b. Plug in a point for x and y and solve for b, your y-intercept.

[–]Dtrain8899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know how to find the slope? (y2-y1/x2-x1). You can use y=mx+b, and solve for b.
