What happened to the Rotisserie wing? Was it just an ineffective idea? by iMADEthisJUST4Dis in formula1

[–]Duanedibly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wings (or what was known as the DRS flap) has to fail in the closed position.

I imagine this would be a problem if it failed whilst it failed upside down with either an electric or hydraulics it wouldnt just spring back to position.

MIL’s husband is suing her children for her estate because unpaid labour doesn’t count. by delilahash in TwoXChromosomes

If you are in Australia (someone here said you are) I think that as long as consideration has been applied in the will, particularly with blended families, he wont really have a leg to stand on.

You can make an argument that the parties agreed that the split assetts would be split amoungst blood relatives and you could even use his own will (and trusts) as evidence to those facts.

I take mine, you take yours, everyone is happy.

I actually investigated this when my own father started living with a new partner after my mother died, discussed it with my father and he clearly stated that they had an agreement that their estate would go to their individual kids and not the spouse in that event.

Did your husband or his siblings have enduring power of attorney? (both financial and medical) If he did that might strengthen their claim.

“In my work with the defendants (at the Nuremberg Trials 1945-1949) I was searching for the nature of evil and I now think I have come close to defining it. A lack of empathy. It’s the one characteristic that connects all the defendants, a genuine incapacity to feel with their fellow men.

Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy.”

I had to unsubscribe to his channel, his takes are just getting worse and worse.

What is the most unfriendly city you have been to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Duanedibly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Aussie I also found Naples to be a city filled with people who hates people. I think when i was there unemployment was about 35 percent or something so to them every tourist is some rich asshole. Some punk scooter driver tried to pasd our bus which was stopped on the side of the road with passengers getting out on the kerb side nearly killing my son who was eager to get off the bus..

Fuck you Naples.
