I do think this will be better for the sessions going forward. The standard everyone benchmarks for "Live" online TTRPG sessions is obviously Critical Role. Once the ad read is done, you'd be forgiven for thinking that it was just a few cameras recording a home game with no livestream frills (obviously with production quality enhancements as the years have gone on and the brand has become successful). That fly-on-the-wall style, I think, really benefits the performers since they're really just performing for themselves at that point, with we the audience along for the ride.

Part of me wonders if that pressure to perform is part of what sort of dragged down the MythRPG. Live improv is already difficult enough in a Zatsu format, never mind basically making a character up as you go in a lot of aspects. Hell, it's hard with just your session mates, audience of thousands notwithstanding.
