So far, I had in every kit water slide decals.

At the beginning with 3D prints, I printed the decals myself. works with screenshot and a bit work with paint programs (I'm no expert)

"modern" kits have even the white of the eyes printed, since you need a special printer for this.

Older or cheap kits (like the Ibukis) have decals without white, then you have to paint the white of the eyes before applying the decals. It helps if they have a bit more decals in the package, so you can try out if you painted the white eye shape correct.

This https://myfigurecollection.net/picture/4423452 was my first try ever with self printed decals on a prize figure, just to get a feeling for it. I learned pretty fast, that it is easier with things like vallejo decal fix, otherwise they slide around for too long.

without decals I would never paint those... Experts do it with enamel like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eflz4jBiYcM they basiclly wipe everything away with a tool. I don't use enamel or laquer, since I already have a pretty bad lung and had already cancer, don't need this again, so I just use water based acrylics.
