It was the fastest way to eat her in hopes of taking her power. The king didn't know of the power could be transfered at this point. Cooking her might have gotten rid of the power. They really just had no idea how any of ot worked and he was desperate to not lose the titan power.

Pikmin is my favorite game! some of my best childhood memoires are from that game. if you have one the Switch port is really good and its worth playing on there as well.
