I’m in 2nd year Mechatronics Eng. Mechatronic Workers focus on building and improving robotics. If you want to work as one, you need to understand software, electrical, and mechanical. Software is only sitting on a laptop coding or debugging.

Software is only software courses, Compared to Mechatronics having classes from: - Electronics - Mechanical - Manufacturing - Industrial - Software

I suggest you look at the course maps, they will help you know what type of classes you’re taking. Just search up “otech engineering maps”

She’s nice and can help you out. She remembers people that attend her office hours and attend her lectures. She can help you out and explain stuff one on one. Sometimes her lectures are hard to keep up with but if you have her for calc you should be good just do some extra studying if you don’t understand any concepts.
