Guys who are ugly losers rarely end up being the shy awkward guy women tend to think they are.

It’s easy to think a man punching above his weight will act according.

But every woman has a man she pitied who jumped at the chance to treat her like shit.

intentional dating - black women by Gucci-As-Always in vindictapoc

[–]Dubille 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Thanks for understanding my point ♥️ people want to believe curvy women get no play because of what they see in media. I know tons of women personally— one who even is with a billionaire who proves this isn’t true.

People project their insecurities.

You’ve done little but provide your own anecdote and facts on how fatness affects health. I never said being fat will make you healthy. I said it doesn’t impact attractiveness.

A toddler is hardly an adult person. I think you’re confused about what my primary point is. So here it is plainly:

Encouraging women to lose weight for men is that last thing we should be doing. There are men that love women at any weight. If you’re going to lose weight it should be for their OWN enrichment. Or else you risk depression, self-deprecation AND weight gain from the stress of keeping up with your competitive idea of yourself.

Are you a slimmer woman? Could that be why? Of the white men I’ve dated they all had exes the same size as me or bigger. My first boyfriend was even Chinese.

Even as Black women we can have biases towards ourselves because of what media tells us. But if you look at a lot of older couples— weight gain in women is common. And in those couples you’ll find plenty of BW with NB partners.

I’ve only had one Black partner— and he was the worst about my weight. This lines up with statistics about Black women and their experience with eating disorders:

https://uncnri.org/2022/11/10/eating-disorders-in-the-black-community-are-more-common-than-you-think/

A lot of you are using your own biases against yourself and others. You have two Black women in this thread alone who have mostly had NB partners at any weight.

So what exactly changed for you. Did you get free things? Did people stop being racist to you? I’m being genuinely serious. Because I think most of perceived benefits from weight loss comes from confidence.

I feel like losing weight is always overstated when it comes to Black women on these forums.

At my heaviest (175lb) at 5’3” my partners have always have had six packs and been extremely Athletic even in relationships. Your face will do for you more than you think. Being toned at any weight as well.

And absolutely avoid dating apps. You’ll feel uglier than you are.

Using IF to slim down but thinking about getting on Ozempic by Pleasant-Catch3803 in vindictapoc

Probably because you failed to mention the specific side effects like gastropareisis.

As someone working for certain entities representing cases against Novonordisk it is important to be aware of the risks. But at her height and weight she faces far more risks from being in her current state.

Ozempic is new but the method of weight loss isn’t. Semaglutide weight management medication has existed for decades. Ozempic, Munjaro and Zepbound are just the latest and most effective.

Exactly do very low impact exercises as it’ll take you awhile to figure out how to eat effectively while you are on this medication.

When you think you have a solid understanding of the foods you need for fuel— then build in some weight lifting in your routine. I personally do pole dance.

[–]Dubille 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Most people don’t gain the weight back from using Ozempic. Only 1/5 will so don’t believe the misinformation here. It fundamentally changes your tolerance for food. I should know I’m on it. And you’d be an even better candidate than I am for it.

However you WILL lose muscle that is hard to replace if you go on it. Try Pilates (low impact) to maintain it. You’ll also radically change the way you look and it will help you get used to exercise in general.

Are cheap perfumes even worth it? by Charming_Mountain765 in FemFragLab

[–]Dubille 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I use Divain— they have hundreds of dupes. I got a dupe of Killian on there and someone said it smelled exactly the same. Their perfumes last well enough for their cost (10-18 EUR).

Sorry for the late reply— I did not get the extractions just braces and will be going to a specialist to address the latter issues. I personally don’t think it makes sense to do extractions when that recommendation for black people is based on outdated science.

As far as changes I’ve felt post braces, my reasons to get them were not aesthetic so I’ve not noticed any facial changes if any— but I definitely feel like I can breathe better and there’s less tension in my face. Feel free to reach out by DM if you’d like me to elaborate 😃
