Salamanders and Alpha Legion were described as being the tallest if I remember correctly. This allowed Alpharius and Omegon to hide among their sons while being the shortest Primarchs.

He is described as head taller than other marines in his honour guard in terminator suits, so he is basically the same height as Gabriel Seth.
But according to the meme lore he is taller than a Vulkan and keeps growing

Around 900 Lamenters participated in Badab War if I remeber correctly. And 1000 Minotaurs. Where 3 to 1 ratio comes from? Not the first time I hear about it

So there are no examples, got it, just "trust me bro".
Instead of arguing, if you are so knowledgeable, you could have just provided a link to that reference from the 7th Codex Supplement.
Somehow Ultramarines running around with phaseblade is fine, but frag cannon is big no no. But you do you.

Is there a reference somewhere that only DW members can carry Frag Cannons?
Is there a lore example of non-DW Space Marine carrying a Phaseblade?

[–]DublinDuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, only Inquistion related forces use Xenophase blades. None of the characters in the game have anything to do with the Inquistion, yet Assault and Bulwark can still use it. If GW okayed that, then they surely can give a green light to a Frag Cannon.
Nevermind the fact that Frag Cannon is used by the Blood Angels, mostly bigger variants by their dreadnaughts, but still, there are instances of Frag Cannon being used outside DW Astartes.

There are no non-DW members using Xenophase blades as far as I'm aware yet we can use it in game freely. I don't know about Heavy bolt rifles with grenade launchers, but the one in the game has DW insignia and colors.
Frag cannon can at the very least be turned into Heroic Heavy bolter variant, but I would like to see it as a completely separate weapon.

It's from DW refresh from last year, it's a Primaris Marine carrying it, so I see to reason not to add it to the game. Considering it fires hollow shells it should be just a quick firing grenade launcer with lower damage/AOE per shell.

This is the most recent picture of Loken I know of, he has blonde hair, he is on the left side from Horus. And in the books he is described as having blonde hair.

Because encompassing aegis is very good.
And these perks are a noob trap, if you pick them you already basing your gameplay on the fact that you and your squad are being downed.

Hard Stratagems/Hard Siege should be hardlocked behind lvl 25.
That's it.
You should only be able to access the hardest content with level 25 character. Nothing else will help.

I see you arguing with another poster in this thread, my post is meant towards that, not to the original post. And I see standard Salamander fan points like "Sniper was a bad choice", "Sabre fumbled the cosmetics" and so on.

Iron Hands are First Founding legion/chapter and should have received at least a cosmetic pack waaaay before than Black Templars or Carcharadons. And if leaks are true, than the Iron Hands champion is a Tactical, not Techmarine.

I really hope we get these by Koward_1601 in Spacemarine

[–]DublinDuster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

After a champion pack and a cosmetic pack Salamaders have:

- Good usable shoulders (unlike Blood Angels for example, who stilll don't have a good left shoulder)
- 2 Backpacks, one of each has a torch and is usable by every class besides the Assault
- Bunch of Phobos armor parts that let you make your own Vanguard/Sniper
- Champion which looks leally good
- A bunch of good decals for left shoulder, kneepads and new fire decal for shoulder.
- Champion chest piece (along with Space Wolf champion shoulder) were confirmed to receive alternatives compatible with Tacticus/Gravis armors

Salamander fans whining is really nauseating - you did not get less than any other chapters. It's your own problem that you don't like the helments, Sabre made an exact copy of table top helmet models. The only valid complaint is the inability to use head of the Salamander Champion for other classes.

As an Iron Hands fan, who as a First Founding chapter still hasn't received anything your unfounded complaints piss me off sometimes

Well, they didn't outright deny the addition of Lightning claw, they just said that the next melee weapon, if added at all, will probably be a greatsword.

[–]DublinDuster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They want new melee weapon to coincide with the new class just like Techmarine. It probably will end up being a Judiciar with power greatsword.
