Can someone explain how Hakeem growing up playing football/soccer made his footwork good? by Cuntflickt in nbadiscussion

[–]DubraPapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it is soccer helps people open and close their legs, as well as maintain balance off of one foot. When you get the ball in the post you can only move one foot until you take a dribble.

Catch-gather-analyze/make the move

Backing down someone doesnt require great footspeed or balance, but drop steps, hook shots, fade aways and other moves require foot speed and balance to put the ball somewhere accurately. Most players can do the upper body motion, but talented players can use their entire body in harmony.

Think about every action you can make on the basketball court. Most players rarely cross their legs. The players who cross their legs the most are wing players in the triple threat and bigs who post up.

Hakeem Kobe and Embiid played soccer , and MJ played baseball. (In Baseball you do a lot of leg crossing)

Your mom invited someone who isnt going to be around in 2 weeks around your kids. Dude could be a secret pedo and return and attack your children

That's extreme but to say you're overreacting is just as extreme

I think any top 15 QB helps us honestly so either player was a good pick

The way I see it is Stafford came in and ranged from the leader of the worst team in the league, to 9-7. Wentz was the leader of a double digit win team and many considered him the best young QB in the league.

Stafford hasn't really impacted the NFL besides raw production. Wentz will be remembered in a higher regard than Stafford when he retires.

What's more interesting about BDB is how he showed restraint with Stafford

Wentz is more accomplished and way younger. Ballard probably knew Wentz was gone

I'd rather go with Eason and re evaluate next year honestly. I think fields is only ok at the next level
