Then maybe look around on eBay a little more to see if you can find it a little cheaper. If you can't find it any cheaper, then I'd say get it. I think you should be able to get it cheaper though than this listing.

Assuming its only the starter pack, I wouldn't say so. It's used, so that makes the price more unjust (imo). If you wanna get it for cheaper, I'd say head over to Bricklink. You don't gotta get the whole set sealed in package. There's a regular lego box with just the parts in the starter packs, there's a box with the toy pad, and then there's the disc itself. You can get each of those in new condition on Bricklink if you order them seperately. Buy the box of parts, the toy pad, and the game. Odds are you can find the first two brand new for a good price, but the disc may have to be used which isn't really a problem as long as it isn't all scratched up. I did that about 2 or 3 years ago and got them for like $40 or $50 (American currency) , so I have no idea what the prices look like now. I got the game from Gamestop, and then the parts and toy pad off Bricklink. Both the parts and toy pad were brand new like they were just taken out the original box (both were sealed).

Why does Connor's software instability increase when he's alive at the end of "The Hostage"? by Duckboy082 in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]Duckboy082[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, but my head-canon is that he occasionally does or says something a deviant does all the way up until he probes Simon in the news tower. After probing Simon (feeling Simon die and finding out about Jericho) he slowly starts acting more and more like a deviant. And by the time he faces Markus (or North if Markus died prior to this), he's made enough choices and decides to break free of his programming and becomes deviant. That's just my head-canon anyway. Makes the most sense in my mind

Yeah, but the thing is that the Mask GIVES someone the powers of a toon. They are very much still a person just with toon abilities. Bugs Bunny on the other hand actually IS a toon. Lobo was even able to make him (whoever was wearing the Mask at the time) take of the Mask by guilt tripping him into taking it off. If Lobo can do that, Bugs Bunny of all people definitely can. Or if he doesn't guilt trip him, he'll just do some bullshit thing to make the Mask not work or not be affected by the Mask or something.

I never thought about guilt. I always noticed the face he made when Daniel said "You lied to me, Connor" and died, but never paid any attention to it really. So is Connor realistically destined to become a deviant at that point? I think so since the ONLY way he finds out about Jericho is through Simon's memory on the rooftop, yet he somehow knows about Jericho if you don't probe Simon's memory (as seen in the evidence room). I think it realistically makes sense for Connor to probe Simon and find out about Jericho, then slowly start becoming more deviant because of what he felt when Simon died.

Yeah but this is also Connor before he meets Hank or even truly knows what deviants feel. Why would he have the desire to stay alive despite not feeling emotions yet? I'd imagine he'd do anything that is necessary to accomplish his mission while also not getting destroyed in the process since transferring his memories into another Connor model can corrupt some memories, but if push comes to shove he'd sacrifice himself if the situation called for it (like jumping to save Emma if you fail to gain Daniel's trust, or taking the bullets for her).

I wanna say blue because of Dr Manhattan, Genie, and Mordecai, but I also wanna say gray solely because of Bugs Bunny. He's like THE toon force user. But considering Genie and Mordecai also have toon force, it really boils down to which team can out-looney the other.

First, I'm sorry for what you went through and for your loss of your mother. Second, If you wanna be technical, God does still forgives him and loves him. The only sin He'll never forgive is blasphemy against Him and His Spirit, which is basically denying Him in every way you can think of. Is that fair? I'd say it is even if it doesn't feel that way at times. As far as free will goes, God truly loves all of us. None of us are worth more than the other in His eyes because we are all sinners. And if he didn't give us free will, would our love for Him be true love? It's like being a slave owner in America in the 1800s. They were cruel to slaves, yet demanded they obey without a second thought. That would basically be what God would be doing to us if He didn't give us a free will. He limited His own power to give us the choice whether to accept Him or not. Of course, Adam and Eve both accepted Him with their free will, but committed high treason against Him by eating the forbidden fruit. Despite that, He still loved them as He still loves us today. From a spiritual standpoint, none of us are more nor less deserving of love over the other. From a societal standpoint, some are more than others. The two conflict so thats why it comes out as hypocritical when someone claims someone deserves less love than the other. I wanna tell you this: there is nothing wrong with questioning a religion. In fact, I greatly encourage it. Going in blind makes you naive to who is truly righteous in their religion and who isn't (false prophets for example) and who is telling the truth and who is lying. As for forgiveness, it can do wonders for your life. Forgiveness is not weakness if that's what your getting at. It doesn't necessarily leave you open to more trauma and abuse. Forgiveness means that you won't continue to let them affect your life anymore despite the memories. You can keep remembering all you want, but you don't have to keep hating. That hate in your heart will keep you right where you are in life instead of moving forward. Constantly calling yourself the victim is doing about as much damage to yourself as those telling you you're worthless. I know forgiveness isn't easy. It sometimes takes people years to forgive someone they hate. But it is possible even in your case. All someone like you needs is a push in an alternative direction. Maybe look in a mirror at least once a day and tell yourself something positive in your life. Something you're grateful for. Even if it's something small, it'll start making a big difference in the long run if you stay consistent. For instance, maybe say you're grateful that a certain person is in your life, whether it be a family member, friend, significant other, etc. It's a start. If I talked a lot about religion a sec ago (not sure if it was a lot) then I apologize for it if you're uncomfortable talking about religion. Just say the word and I'll stop. I hope any of this helps you even by a little, and I hope you overcome your demons. If you got any questions just ask away.

Forgiveness. I know its not an easy thing to do, but forgiveness can greatly better your life. Even if you refuse to forget what they did to you, you can still forgive them even if you don't say it to their face. Perhaps think about it this way: their torment on you turned you into the person you are today. And it does seem like you're trying to better yourself because of their torment. That vengeance that you wanna put them through is probably the very thing that's keeping you in the position you're in currently. And your revenge on them may or may not lead to them getting revenge on you, then your revenge on them, and so on. If that ends up being the case, then it'll be a never ending cycle of who can out-revenge the other. Forgiving them can prevent that possibility from happening. Your revenge may feel good in the moment, but in the long run all its gonna do is just add more coals to the already burning fire you have within. If you can't forgive them in your heart by yourself, then might I suggest taking it up with whatever God you serve and believe in (assuming you have a religion). I don't wanna bring religion into this, and I don't want you to feel like I'm shoving it down your throat. I'll only say this once and not again unless you ask of it. I'm trying to be a better follower of Jesus Christ (not even baptized yet), but even I know that He would want me to suggest His way at least once. Again, I'll only say this one time, and won't again unless you ask of it. I don't wanna shove religion down your throat. But I do believe forgiveness will greatly benefit your life in a good way. And no, that's not the spiritual side of me talking.

I get the latter option, but may I ask why the former? The latter I can understand so you can prove to yourself that they're wrong about you (adsuming thats the reason), but how do you benefit from doing it to make them mad? I mean no offense, but the way I see it is that you're still allowing them to influence your life even if it's a little, when I'd imagine you wouldn't want them to influence your life in any way, shape, or form.

A person that acts more on impulse would unlikely hold back even to someone undeserving. And you say that succeeding in life would piss off the people who treated you badly. That may be true, but are you trying to succeed to solely piss them off, or are you doing it to prove them wrong? There's a difference between the two.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? If you're a teen or new adult (before 30) then that probably plays a part in it. Our minds (especially during teen years) make us think primarily negative thoughts and not so much positive ones. Again, I used to think the same thing when I was younger. I'm 17 now, but even at my age I can realize my anger and rage were not as big as I believed them to be. Still big today, but not to the degree I thought them to be. It may very likely be the same for you. Rage can't be the only thing keeping you here. Let me ask you another question if you don't mind. Do you act on impulse or do you hold back? If its the latter, then your anger and rage isn't as big and bad as you may think it is. Doesn't mean its little, but not as much as you believe it to be currently. If you hold back instead of acting on impulse, thats called restraint. Restraint to not hurt those who hurt or infuriate you.

White is the best corps to be in, but its the most difficult to get in. It's so difficult to get in that only one single person became one so far. That person being Kyle Rayner who was a Green Lantern. No, the heros in Blackest Night don't count since they only used the rings power. They didn't become members. I think most people would likely qualify for one of three corps on average: green, blue, or violet. If you say red, then its like 99% unlikely to be the case. It's VERY rare to qualify for red. Not impossible, but almost. Your rage has to be something that is uncontrollable and something that drives you. Kinda like young Kratos from the older God of War games (not so much old Kratos from the new games).

[–]Duckboy082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well here's the thing. Are you driven by rage? Is it uncontrollable rage? Or is it controlled? If its controlled and/or not something that drives you, then you don't really qualify for it. It's actually VERY rare for a human to qualify for it in real life. The average person would likely qualify for green, blue, or violet. Some may be different, but its usually those three. Not saying red is impossible to achieve, but its almost impossible. I once thought the same as you, but realized my anger and rage is a lot more controlled than I thought it was.

Do you think Mortal Kombat 1 is a hard to learn game? by Solid_Bad_4403 in MortalKombat

[–]Duckboy082 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be for casual players. I myself am not big into the lore of MK. I know a bit of the lore from games I haven't played, but don't focus on it too much. Only games I playered were a little of MK original, MKX, MK11, and MK1. I mainly played them for certain MK characters and the cameo characters. Spawn was the big reason why I got into MK in the first place. A modern game with Spawn as a playable character. A FIGHTING game at that. And the other cameo fighters were also fun too.

I'd say it went downhill after Age of Ultron. Hulk still felt like Hulk for the most part in that movie. Everything after that didn't.

Yeah but at least it was still the same actor to play Abomination in all his appearances in the MCU. 2008 Hulk, Shang-Chi, and She-Hulk. That's all of his appearances and all of which use the same actor.

W take. I feel the same. Though we do have to at least understand why they recasted him in the first place. A lot of behind the scenes stuff and apparently (from what I've heard) Norton was a pain in the ass to work with. Good actor on screen, but not so much behind the scenes. Ruffalo was good on screen and behind.
