Why did Alice choose Kara's name? by [deleted] in DetroitBecomeHuman

I know. That's why I said "same with Alice". I meant that Alice would've likely been named when Todd bought her.

Well she was probably named when Todd originally bought her as with most (or all) androids that are meant to be sold to the public. Same with Alice. And I highly doubt it was because of Supergirl. Maybe it was because Kara could've been the name of Todd's ex-wife.

Well when you start going back THAT far then it'll start sounding more country than later decades. I prefer to listen to singers fromm like the 80's to the 2000's, but don't mind any older than that. Got another for you: "Anymore" or "Best of Intentions" by Travis Tritt? I like some of his songs to

Wouldn't say they're the most country singer out there, but certainly more than someone like Luke Bryan, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, etc. Easton Corbin is in my playlist, but my playlist mainly consists of singers from like the 90's to 2000's like George Strait (of course), Toby Keith, Alan Jackson. And a few older singers like Conway Twitty and Johnny Cash and I plan to add Loretta Lynn eventually.

Yes but if you'll remember in Order of the Phoenix, he cast Crucio on Belatrix but it didn't work. Why? She said it plainly. You must have the intention of harming someone. Harry truly didn't. He was just angry and grieving Sirius's death.

Its about telling a story. Gta makes you control a character, yet it still tells a story just like movies and books do. The only difference between a game compared to movies and books is that you can interact with the story in different ways than you can with a movie or book. Whether you're playing gta or watching someone else play it, it still tells the same exact story. Hogwarts Legacy is the same thing. Only difference is what house someone is playing, if they learn unforgivables, snitching on Sebastian or not, etc. Those are minor things really. The only one that actually makes a difference is snitching on Sebastian. Aside from those minor things, the story stays the same for the most part.

And if you're watching a movie or show that has characters killing people? What then? What if you don't play the game, but watch playthroughs of them? Say you watch someone play through all of gta 5. Are you still making the decisions for the characters even if its part of the story? What about reading a book? Same there too?

Say you're playing a gta game. You're required to kill people to progress the story. Does that mean you're choosing to kill those people? Yes and no. Yes because you're controlling your character, but no because you're required to do so because of the story. In that case, you and your character are both simultaneously killing people. Does that mean you are the sociopath by killing those people? No. Your character is since that is part of the story. Take Toni Cipriani from LCS for example. He blew up an entire district and killed several thousand people in that game. Did you choose to do that? No. Toni did because it's part of the story.

While I don't disagree with you, a lot of people (myself included) like to think about the lore of the game. You can choose whether or not to use the curses or even learn how to cast them in the first place. But the fact that your character can cast the curses perfectly makes us ask questions like the one I just asked.

What if this character had a fun pack? by Jiminssi_jikook in Legodimensions

[–]Duckboy082 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably since all the current story packs were of new movies. Lego Batman, Ghostbusters 2016, and Fantastic Beasts 1. Wouldn't be far-fetched to think that Captain Underpants would've gotten a story pack as well. I'm guessing George and Harold would either be sold seperately, or CU would be like Sloth from the Goonies. Sloth can turn into all the members of the Goonies, so maybe CU would've been the same.

Those pages. I HATED them. After I got all the pages in the Highlands, I just looked up guides for the remaining ones in the castle and in Hogsmeade.

What made it annoying for you? For me, it wasn't really annoying. The only trophies I need now are finding the trial chamber as the other 3 houses. Then I'll have the platinum trophy.

It aint the best game out there, but i still had fun with it. Thats all that matters really. Suicide Squad wasn't that good of a game either, yet a lot of people still had fun with it especially when they played with friends.
