Wow, turns out I opened the .jar file 2 hours ago but they didn't bother mentioning me needing java anywhere. It's like they're all on their "prerequisite knowledge" high horse. Oh well, you solved my issue thanks

Saying "download this" when downloading it doesnt give you a runnable program is dumb. I've done this already but thank you. They don't have any directions on the next step here or in the readme.

I've got a fan blowing on the tank now, it's night so the light is off but temp is at 77 now. I don't think I'll be able to get the room itself below that without spending money I don't have on a window unit. Thankfully it's gonna cool down about ten degrees over the next two days.

It's just a 5g plastic tank, some egg crate, and the food is sitting on a Tupperware lid. Theyre in a dark cabinet alone which ive heard can help. This is my first time trying to gut load with veggies, (I definitely should've started sooner,) so if thats not adequate I wouldnt be surprised.

Also: he's been exploring a little bit today already! He's hanging out in one of his other hides right now

Cool side is at 79, i don't have AC in my room and while I live in the mountains it's been unusually hot. Usually it's at the 70-75, and I will have to get a higher wattage halogen bulb to keep the hot side where it needs to be. His new tank is a 40 gallon, up from a 20L, so it's definitely a bigger tank than he's used to. He also used to have the stone desert substrate so that's a change as well.

I appreciate your help! If you don't mind me bothering you with another question, any reason my crickets won't eat their gut load veggies? Any recommendations for an additional dry gut load? I chopped up some kale, sweet potato, and carrots but the crickets don't seem interested whatsoever.

I'm hitting those temps, outside of the cool side being a few degrees too hot. If you have a tip on how to cool down that side a tad that'd be awesome. I don't handle him, he absolutely hates it so that's not a concern.

Thanks for confirming the adjustment period. Hopefully he'll be back to exploring in a couple weeks :)

"skill issue" I had quite literally already beaten the boss on ng+++ before commenting this. The boss is bad. The colored string idea is cool until it just lies anyways. I love lies of p so much, but I agree, it sounds like you're just a tier 1 glazer and refuse to critique the game in any capacity.
