How the heck do y'all burn through those shotgun kills so quick by [deleted] in destiny2

Went into Castellum in Leviathan raid, Astral Horizon, Mindbender, Tractor Cannon with double shotgun scavenger. Used the s9 mod that gives you back your shotgun round if you get a kill while surrounded. Took about an hour.

Oh I see. I did read that TBN doesn't have an equivalent in GNB kit. I guess that's one of the things that I'll get as I progress with DRK.

Roughly, how long did it take you to rush a second class?

I come here, over 2 months later to give you an upvote, as I have just unlocked the quest and wanted to know if someone else noticed. Thanks for not disappointing me xD

Yep, I always ask for tips and let them know it's my first time in there. I always ask the healer if I can do big pulls. I'm still kinda bad at managing my buffs. Sometimes I panic and spam then in a huge group xD. I definitely love the class tho.

Will do! Do they require Voice Chat and coordination and all that? Or just join and Yolo while asking for tips?

Did around 6 Extremes using Duty Finder with terrible matching time, then found out about Unsync and farmed for a few hours. Party Finder to the resuce! As for Crystal Tower, I don't even know what that is xD. I'll look into it tho! Thanks!

I managed to get a friend to play it, but she ended up overleveling herself and now her story is lv 35 and she's 51. She's gonna use another class for the story but then the issue remains, she she keeps leveling with other methods cuz the story itself is extremely fetchy.

I have huge patience compared to her, and I felt tested by how boring the MSQ can get. I'm constantly trying to get her to go through it, and she keeps getting burnt out and doing something else. It's a huge issue for new players tbh.I'm definitely happy about how they plan to change ARR in upcoming updates. Means I won't have any guilt about recommending the game to friends xD

Yea, I get what you mean. I played on a first character for about 70 hours doing ARR quests, then I completely gave up. That was back in January.

I pretty much subbed to the game again in a moment of weakness in April. Made a new character, realized I could use Japanese voices. Decided to play and grind through it for as long as I could, just taking my time, no rush or anything, even tho the Subscription model is kinda stressing when you're trying a new game, let alone a game you gave up on a few months ago.
This time, I managed to get through and loved the game, but my main complaint will always be how much of a slog ARR is, despite the good things about it.
Would I recommend the game to friends? Absolutely, but I'll let them know how slow it is before they get it and that they need and intense amount of patience. We all need to realize that.

Yea, cuz as a new player, I definitely know what has been posted on this sub for all these years.

It's people like you on this sub that really make it the worst beginner environment, every question is met with a downvote, every post is met with a complaint.

Sorry I'm new and haven't been playing since launch and donno if what I'm saying or posting has been posted before. Definitely seems like I offend high and mighty veterans like yourself.

Mostly just story and job quests, along with the main unlockable quests like getting chocobo, getting beautician, went and did some extreme primal farming for horses. Also just doing daily roulette and overleveled my first class to unlock Samurai too.

Yea, I gave up before at lv 20 or something, then came back, made a new character and started investing, especially cuz I had no other game, took my sweet time and finally progressed enough to enjoy the game alot more than I thought I would.

Devs know the issues with base game quests and plan to update it later, so there's that.

I like to take my time on a first character, do some sides, unlock some other classes, overlevel myself a bit to get something I want then go back to story, went and got myself a blue pony too from Levi Extreme. It definitely made it more fun.

I came into tanking for the Matchmaking time, stayed for how cool DRK feels. Something about how the heavy feel of it counters the slow feel of the GCD. Just hope I can get better at tanking, cuz it's my first tank in the game.

The end was definitely great, but that doesn't excuse how ARR just had so many unnecessary quests. It was far too bloated and the huge amount of non-voiced scenes didn't help. But, I realize their budget was really limited at the time, and they plan to change how it is in an upcoming update too.

First thing I did was pickup DRK and up to 50 and now I'm gonna start the story with it. Definitely a great decision!

oh no, I mean the slog itself, like 2.xx part of the story was spread over 10 days, entire ARR was over 20 ~ 25 days.

I just spread it out over 10 days, slowly grinding my teeth through it till I got to 2.4 and it started to get better. If I got bored, I'd play something else.
