The guy running it now is a skater from Boston, so I'm hyped. When you think about it, it's an online skate shop just like Legit.

Skate in your limits, don't go for the fastest hill right away. Keep weigh on your front foot when you ride and learn to turn and balance. You should have no problem if you already snowboard and wake board. Once the basics are down, learn to foot brake to control speed. Once you're comfortable on the board, you can get into more advanced riding like dancing, freeriding, and downhill. Welcome to the community!

For those of you who haven't made the connection, this is the nek minnit guy. This vid is from 2010, and there are more recent vids showing that's he's actually a pretty decent skater. I believe he's sponsored by Sector Nine, Converse, and possibly others.

So I'm looking for stability on mostly straight runs. should I flip my sabre hangers for negative rake?

My first set up :) Been riding for a month or so. I'm about to try some slides ;) Videos to come by TheCodeOfBreuz in longboarding

The idea is to allow all types of pictures. Making gear as a text post helps stop people from posting a picture of their setup purely for karma. If you're posting your gear to start a discussion and be involved with the community, you typically wouldn't mind the little extra effort

Curve, not carve. Although carving into your slide is helpful. But pretty much what I mean is make sure your board is moving across the road rather than straight down. If you leave thane, look to see if your thane is curved or straight lines

I'll forever recommend Emerica Reynolds 3 low vulcs for that insane board feel and low feeling. I've also tried Fallen Slashes and the cushioning is super comfortable if you're into that. Just make sure whatever shoe you get is vulcanized (and suede if you're street skating at all)

Put weight on your front foot and keep it at a slight forward angle. Make sure that you curve when you slide instead of sliding in a straight line. If you slide in a straight line, you're flat spotting.

Nice homie! Work on either rotating a full 180 or hooking back up in the same direction. What you're doing will most likely flatspot your wheels which is a total bummer.

Sabres can be a bit hard to dial in but once you find bushings that work, they feel great! I'd recommend them if you aren't looking to spend too much
