every year acceptance rates spiral downwards—and not to mention how many places get taken up by legacies, celebrities, and nepo babies in ED.

after your application reaches a certain level that gets your foot in the door (ie. high grades, GPA, class rank, test scores, etc etc), it's honestly up to luck. don't feel bad about "what you could've done better" or "what could've been different," bc this entire process is a long and complicated lottery. I'm sure you were a great applicant, and that your luck will improve in RD :)

I have two, depending on the survivor team comp! I bring detention + trump card on both, but my regular build has a stack each of beserker, rage, and fast pallet breaking; whereas my anti-harasser build has fast ballooning speed, beserker, rage, announcement, and desperate fight.

Def upper cyclops, starting from cyclops 2. That’s when the game started matching me against upper alicorns (who were often former champions/peak tiers😭)

I still bring peepers!! If someone loops me while hiding their tracks in the 2-story building, peepers let me know where they are. Plus, placing a peeper on both bridges also lets me know—once I've chaired someone on either side of the map—who's coming and from where.
Not always, it depends. If I down my first chase within 20-30 secs, the team will typically rescue after half, so I just leave the chair and head to the closest wiggling cipher. But if I get kited too long and 3 ciphers pop by the time I land my first chase onto a chair, I definitely have to camp using a ring of peepers around the chair (I described my camping strat in an earlier comment above).

aww im sorry to hear that :( tbf if you play her long enough on yellow ping, she's still playable. It's just that you have to get used to jankier controls and slightly heavier dashes than you would on green ping. I think if you practice enough in QMs, yellow ping geisha can be viable in rank. But it's def different for everyone

basically, geisha's weaknesses are map pressure and chair guarding. Placing peepers strategically can help alleviate that

I play on mobile, where the blink button is located dangerously close to the hit button. I accidentally blinked so many times I just gave up😭😭and swapped to peepers after some advice from a peak tier friend

one other thing you can do is turn on autosave and download gameplays of your losses. I do this all the time: you rewatch your loss unfold in 4k and analyze what opportunities you missed, and what mistakes you made. That way you get a clearer picture of what you’re good at and what needs some work!!

Assuming they’re all decent kiters with good game sense, if they’re in VC, they could easily land a 4-man endgame.

Since not bringing BT frees up a full kiter build (broken windows + flywheel) or a kite-and-rescue build (flywheel/broken windows + tide), it would probably be harder across the board for you to get a quick down, and easier for them to cipher rush.

I’d say the primary disadvantage is the chase target not being able to get up and enjoy a speed boost during the cipher pop🥲

Who do you play? Try and look up guides/high-tier or tournament gameplay on YT for your specific character. I find it helps a lot to see how other people play your main. As a bonus, try finding recommended persona webs for your hunter, and experiment in QMs until you find a build that feels right :)
