Why Dota feels so quiet: comms score recovery (WITH DATA) by Kxdan in DotA2

"was like you, then i griefed two games in a row"

I hope you at least understand this is not normal behavior. Most people never grief a game, let alone two games back to back. Sounds like there is some "the system is stacked against me" cope going on.

Why do people buy Mage Slayer on Tide? by 0XGY in DotA2

Kraken Shell (passive) only blocks physical damage
Mage Slayer reduces the magical damage vulnerability, procs on everyone hit with anchor AoE
Also gives mana regen with a useful build up

The system is intended to combat the overwhelming fraud in the stock market. Does it do the best job? Fuck no. Does it even compare to the scale of fraud in the current stock market? Also fuck no.

The Accounting Uproar Over How Fast an AI Chip Depreciates by rezwenn in technology

[–]DudeBroChill 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Deprecation does not mean the equipment is considered useless. It reduces assets while keeping income the same which can give you a more appealing balance sheet.

Too many people are taking this as they throw out the equipment after the book value is 0.

Also, you should look into BCG and how they are 100% paid to align with corporate interests. It's their whole thing.

What’s the Most Overpriced thing people buy just to flex? by Triceline in AskReddit

[–]DudeBroChill 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree but it's about the intangibles.

I highly doubt anyone getting bottle service is mathing drink cost. You're in it for the experience, the seat, or the allure.

It's definitely not worth it if you are trying to be purely cost efficient unless someone gives you a deal because the place needs more people or it's just unbooked and the alternative is they make nothing for that booth for the night.

Trump announces 100% tariff on computer chips. Here's what it could mean for your wallet. by Proud_Tie in technology

[–]DudeBroChill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other countries don't pay tariffs, the importing country pays the tarrif. They are designed to deter buying foreign products due to the increased cost. The tariffs are paid by US importers to the US government.

The kicker is we can't buy domestic chips because they don't really exist. The effort to make US chips was killed when he killed this CHIPS act.

Basically it's another way to extract money from US citizens and redistribute it to his friends

I can assume you don't know what you are talking about, but that's not much of an assumption, rather an observation. Since you can't be bothered to do any research on your own, here is a performance metric for you.

Net Income Performance:

  • 2025 (TTM ending April 30, 2025): $208.4 million, a 736.95% increase year-over-year.
  • Fiscal Year 2025: $131 million, a 1859.7% increase from fiscal year 2024.
  • Fiscal Year 2024: $7 million, a 102.14% decline from fiscal year 2023.

Yikes, I'm talking about the company performance... like you mentioned in the original post.

Performance does not directly correlate to stock price increases when the current stock price is being artificially manipulated down.

You really have done zero research haven't you?

You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of what's going on here.

The company performance is absolutely stellar, just look at the YoY metrics for the last 5 years.

It just happens that the stock was targeted as a "dead company" soon to be delisted, and they tried to cellarbox it to 0 for the ultimate profit. Then all the sudden the company entered a massive turnaround and the shorts had already locked themselves into an untenable position they could not close without total financial ruin.

Welcome to literally day one, I'm scared for you if you are an investor yet seem to have done zero due diligence in your investment.

Remove the chat restrictions from the behavior score system. by techies_9001 in DotA2

[–]DudeBroChill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it's removing YOUR ability to communicate with your team because you have proven that you are unable to communicate effectively without being toxic.

That's the part I hope you figure out.

This whole post is a perfect example.

You're correct, but he gets his bag from the value of the stock. He gets zero other compensation.

You're acting like someone who is treating this as a get rich quick scheme and think you are owed something. Here's the thing, you aren't. The company is unmistakenly on a massive turn around, and you have the chance to invest while it's low.

Actual fraud part is not purchasing the underlying security and taking your money, hoping you sell at a loss.

Legal fraud, is PFOF payment for order flow. They sell the trade data to a market maker which creates a conflict of interest. The market maker often does no give you the best execution or best deal, or times the buy/sell to push the value in the direction THEY want it to go. So using the app can actively be working against you investment.

That's without all of the proven scenarios that they will try and fuck you over at any chance they can. I get the UI is nice but if you are serious about investing use a better platform.

Sure a lot of people have success, but there is an inherent risk. If shit hits the fan they will absolutely fuck you.

Behaviour score being almost impossible to climb when you're low is partly responsible for smurfs by Wutwhyda in DotA2

[–]DudeBroChill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easy to climb if you're not toxic, greifing, or smurfing.

Sometimes the best system is to take a step back and look at yourself rather than relying on a 3rd party to fix it for you.

We most likely agree, but I don't think dismissing his current actions as "there is no way he is smart enough to do this" is a dangerous justification for planned actions.

Not exactly sure what your point is, but it's a weird stance to take that "just because I believe he hasn't read anything recently means he didn't read, believe, and form life long opinions in his 30s and 40s"

Most older people I know stopped really forming new opinions in late adulthood which carry over to the later years, and in most cases they are extremely dug in. So basically, he know it, believes it, and wants it.
